    for what its worth from aug 68 until jan 70 it was grim.perhaps shaw,chapman and mcneill only stood out.in dec 69,john lowe a wealthy mill ownerbought the club,. sacked Rowley and made frizz caretaker,frizz wasn't first choice but eventually was made manager and got money to spend.i am not an old timer but a loyal supporter of 60 yrs.

    I saw the latter end of his career.i had the privledge of meeting him in the late eighties.he was chairman of preston health authority and had come to my hospital at Bolton for a meeting.i saw this chap lost on one of the corriders-its tom finney.i was in his haw.whilst I took him to the meeting venue we chatted about latics.he was well clued up on jimmy frizz and big joe.he his the last of the immediate post war greats.tom finney rip.

    little or nothing is owned to gartside.bw is owned by eddie davies,a boltonian who lives in iom.last I heard gartside, said about 20 per cent was to the banks,the rest to davies-in house.i worked and lived in Bolton for over 30yrs and recived abuse for supporting our team.bolton fans want a new owner.who the hell is going to take that debt on.

    please stop it.every choice will suffice.just gone thro a box of tissues-thats what it means.i am also a lancs cricket member and had the priveledge of being at taunton when lancs won the championship for the first time in 77 yrs.i am 60 plus,no steward could stop me running on to the field.latics and lancs-heaven.

    fao bp1960.we started watching latics in 1960.done it ,seen it and got the t-shirt.its called maturity.however I also respect each opinion on this forum.

    steve eyre gave a masterclass analysis on the game ie,latics were having to defend twice against each notts attack due to no length on clearancs plus misuse of danny.just two examples.sounded like the type of asst required.i really want LJ to succeed.however 6 away defeats on the trot,8 from 14.after tonight,the honeymoon is over.
