    cisak-the club have a 1yr option on his contract.its the clubs call not the player.the club could tell him the option is being taken up and thats it.however is cisak so unhappy and wants to leave.

    on the basis of smith.croft and mvoto leaving it may well have to be 7/8 signings.i saw a qote from LJ suggesting new teams take too long to gel.he was looking for evolution rather than revolution and hit the ground running.i can agree with "boys in blue"about smith croft.mvoto has indicated he is willing to discuss a contract.

    LJ is quoted as saying he wants a squad of 22,two for each position.he already has 4 under contract and the 4 trainees promoted to professional.he also says he is looking to bring in 4.that leaves at least 8 going..out-furman,cisak simpson,byrne,murray(rtm),brown,hughes and jacob.and then there is the uncertainty over smith,croft and mvoto.

    fao-100 miles away.we drew 4-4 in nov 1960.i was there.we lost the replay 0-3 on the following tues afternoon-no floodlights.the cup-tie you might be thinking of is nov 1971.lost0-3.it did snow heavy on the way back.latics also forgot to load the boots onto the team bus/had to beg.steal and borrow at chesterfield.

    its not rocket science that we need a cb and st.the balance of opinion suggests also a lw/lm.if we have a natural lw/lm in the side,we cant have the three central midfields.would dickov leave out the playmaker m changama.someone would be left out,accepting furman/wes are good pair of d/ms.due to suspensions/injuries we need them all.just an opinion.

    if cisak is unwilling to sign an extended contract,we have to sell by 31 jan 2013.he is a good keeper and cisak is aware he is in demand.if you were ciasak would you sign a new contract.afraid we we have to sell by 31jan in nay event.

    some mths ago i asked keiran why the contract was only for 12mths.he is a shy person and told me thats "what we agreed on".my impression of that conversation was that the player himself only wanted 12mths at that stage.remember keiran is 24at the end of his latics contract.by this method its given him flexibilty,hence the move.to the previous poster,what do you do,put a gun to his head.keiran has been smart.

    if some havent signed when the deadline comes,look forward not back and move on.we are a league 1 club ,frankly all the players out of contract (i mean all) are not indeapensible and are replaceable..

    we all have opinions of who should stay/go.one example is the wes/diamond injury situation.if we collated our opinions we would end up with this yrs squad.thats the harsh reality of the surgery required.
