    Without drifting off-topic, I was the same..scores in the newspaper or the radio, when GMR could be arsed announcing it. I used to live quite near the ground and if I couldn't get there, I could hear the Chaddy roar if we scored. As you say, we are privy to every move from afar. It's not good.

    Aldershot had a man sent off but I think were maybe 0-2 down already. There is zero consistency in this league, apart from Chesterfield and that is why they are probably going to go up with a record points tally.

    Totally relieved to get a home win under the belt and back into the zone. As GBP intimated, there is no patience in modern football and I am just as guilty as the next person. Forty odd years ago, I would have been cock-a-hoop with the win and not give a shit about the performance.

    I haven't commented on Frank's venture but to say the man is truly an inspiration is a huge understatement. I just wonder what our underachieving players think of his philanthropy and altruism?

    The Mansfield version is apparently a defensive midfielder. Do we need another defender? No. The Dorking version appears to be a much better prospect.

    I was thinking more of the supporters' morale rather than league standing. I agree, if we slip away now, it will be frustrating to say the least. Currently, I have no confidence the Latics will finish in the playoffs.

    When do we ever not need a result? Ebbsfleet, our new major nemesis, drew 2-2 at Chesterfield today. Above is a quote from the BBC comments page on the game. I know Chesterfield are well ahead of the rest of the league but that comment seems quite familiar.

    They seem just as pissed off as the rest of us. They're right though, Mellon's interview was a non-event which left us completely in the dark, baffled and bewildered. Fuck knows what's going on with the footballing side of things but it currently does not look good. I hope we're not going to go through the whole damn shit storm again.

    A big squad, yes, but if 80% of the squad are performing below par, who does he pick? I can't decide if they are not good enough or just can't be arsed. Fucking baffling.

    Kidderminster have won their last four games, 13 out of 15 points and hoisted themselves of the foot of the table since Brown took over. Pushovers they will not be, especially if our home form does not drastically improve.

    If it was following instructions then the season is well and truly done and also makes a mockery/waste of money of the recent midfield signings.

    Unsworth signed Lundstrum and the hyperbole he came in with is what makes his current performances such a let down. He has to be better than that, surely?

    We will still be in eighth place, the three teams immediately below us are five and six points behind and do not play twice before we play again. Altrincham look certain to put more daylight between us. I agree, the hoof ball downturn is shocking and completely contradictory to Mellon's midfield recruitment. I just don't get it. He needs to sort it and ensure Boreham Wood are put to the sword in front of our own fans. My confidence in that happening is currently not high.
