I'm excited. Reckon we stand a chance of getting some sort of a result, a draw would be amazing, get a nice televised replay at Goodison in a few weeks, and at least be in the hat for the quarters.

Good for us, then. Means if we put in a good performance and fail to win, we have done so against a top quality side that plays week in, week out. And if we get some sort of result, it'll be all the better for it. Today is the first day I have felt excited about tomorrow, whatever the result, we've exceeded every expectation in the cup this year (remember when we all thought Donny would beat us?) and we've beaten Liverpool along the way. If it ends tomorrow, then I think this cup run makes up for those two seasons where we failed to make it past the first round in any competition. Yes, the league table makes crap reading, but forget about it for one day and enjoy the atmosphere. Who knows, we could even surprise people again!

In March alone we play Swindon, Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Tranmere, Hartlepool and Shrewsbury. You tell me which games we are going to get points from that month? It wont be this manager's fault if this team gets relegated. It will be a joint responsibility between Corney and Dickov, which I think both have realised this past week.

Whoever it is, we need to get behind them, give the team our support and hopefully things will improve. None of this unhappiness with whoever we appoint, get behind them. We're in last chance saloon, so as a group of fans we have to collectively show support to the club over the next two and a bit months.

I thought we played well for the first half an hour, and after that just went into a decline. Its a lack of concentration that is the issue, either the levels arent right in training or the players arent responding to the tactics that we employ. Worst thing is, we just looked predictable towards the end, hoofing ball after ball.

We were great for 35 minutes today, then fell apart. Connor Brown was ripped apart time after time yet stayed on until it was too late to rectify his mistakes. We seemed devoid of ideas second half. Not sure where we go from here.
