I've just had one. The guy said he looking over my history as loyal supporter and wondered why I didn't renew my season ticket this year. At this point I had to correct as i had renewed it!

I was in the same boat. I knew about the 10,000 capacity well before the the official announcement. I also heard the metro link temporary stop is just lip service to the fans.

The problem is that the internet has sporned a new type of fan. In the past you'd watch a match, if the result went against you, you'd walk home vent some anger and get on with it and wait for the next match. Nowadays I bet after a bad result within 2 hours (if it's a home match) the vast majority of OWTB members (me included) will come on the forum and read the negative writing of another fan then add our own piece. This isn't limited to Oldham, I have friends of other clubs doing the same thing each week. Consequently it seems negativity follows football round like a bad smell.

As the news came in on Sunday of Big Joe stepping in to the breach once again my mind was working a mile a minute like many Oldham supporters. Due to this I had dream on Sunday night about the Tranmere game with Joe in charge so here we go- Boundry Park was full (but it 4 stands not 3!) on a beautiful sunny day. Some good football saw us 3-0 up in the first 20 mins and we went on to win 4-0. Can't for the life of me remember the team apart from Sean Gregan and........John Eyre!?! Just wondering if anyone else has had any Oldham inspired dreams?
