    Earl Barrett has got to be one for me as he got his first Englang cap while playing for Oldham and went on to play against both Germany and Brazil.

    Royle managed the team at the highest level for 3 seasons....the others didn't. Consequently the opposition was the best this country had to offer.

    I couldn't understand it either yesterday. The forth official just stood there while he was shouting at members of the crowd to to f#ck off with real red faced aggression. Later that that game Tommy Wright gets set to the stands for contesting one of the many refereeing decisions

    I dont expect anything from an 18yr old. I thought it was common knowledge he had quite a bad time with injuries up until 2012. "Wilson, 22, was handed a four-year deal by former manager Gary Johnson and earmarked as one for the future before his progress was interrupted by a number of injuries." That was from the Bristol Post. He was also injured this season at Bristol early doors, hence Not being in the side.

    No surprise really. He was chomping at the bit to get on at weekend. He kept asking Tommy Wright how long was left from about the 60 minute mark

    Shez always said it was lifestyle choices that kept Lee out the team when he was here. Penny even transfer listed the lad during his first (pre) season in charge. I think it was the latter that kicked Lee up the arse got him doing what he does best, playing football.

    tbh I just hope any new site proposal is known to the fans before a formal bid is made We don't need more upset of a site or an area that doesn't really fit with the fans.

    Not sure if its been mentioned but i heard a rumour that Shay Facey was joining on loan from Man City. Plays RB and actually played against Oldham last year in the friendly against City.

    The Everton goal was very special but I actually enjoyed his equaliser away at Scunthorpe the previous season more. 90th minute gold. One the great Oldham away games for me despite being a draw.

    Tbh I've missed signing real international players that you know jack about. Its usually the same old names circling the same old clubs

    I did love the Rob Lee scenario. When Talbot brought him in he harped on about how Lee was the ultimate professional, Lee then found out he was on the bench at 2.30 one Saturday afternoon behind Kilkenny and he jumped in his car and drove off leaving the sub's bench short.
