  1. I thought the same against Carlisle, not seen him play since but his body language worried me. Head down and hiding, thought he'd be bossing a young back line but I think he's being shown up for the bully is, now he's struggling he's nothing to say
  2. i noticed Gateshead have a goalkeeping coach called Chris Porter
  3. i'll be getting my youngest one of these if they are out before xmas
  4. I wasn't suicidal at the end of the game either, was one of those occassions when i thought wow what a great game. 5-0 at half time wouldn't have flattered us, but the rot started to set in just before half time, we were playing blind passes and trying tricks as if the game was up. Never came out second half, but Exeter never gave up and did to us what we did to them in the first half. They clawed their way back into it and we still could have won with the final kick of the game. Just a great game, i'll watch that any day. Some guy made me laugh after, whinging that it was Dickov's fault - he just goes all out for the win. I'll take that
  5. I don't generally wear football stuff but I'd buy one of these
  6. I don't trust you. And i don't know who Jim Beardall is
  7. yeah, my boys both wanted one! it's a nice idea. i'm winning my oldest back - he bought a latics wallet today to replace a utd one a 'friend' had bought him for his birthday
  8. please god no, used to live by easter road so hibs are my scottish team. although with their record with managers he wouldn't be there long!
  9. pretty much sums it up for me, was really pleased with the second half performance, baffled by the officials. furman won everything second half, got on top of perkins and izzet who'd bossed the first half. evina looked good going forward but was getting the run around by vincent who looked a really good winger. good team performance and few negatives for me
  10. My only dealing with Alan Hardy also ran along similar lines to this.
  11. don't get what is so impressive/funny/interesting about this article? sure it slags off an ex-player but there's absolutely nothing to it
  12. Welcome to BP and good luck. LET'S GIVE HIM TIME!
  13. This is interesting, but surely if there was a risk of career threatening injury from playing during these injections the doctor should have communicated this clearly to Chris Taylor and the management?
  14. Awful news, RIP Keith. Thoughts with your family
  15. No that was Jason Kennedy who plays in the midfield. He played alongside Jason Taylor who i'd lost track of since he left Latics. Agree with Rocky, when Tom Kennedy and Dawson leave it's going to cost a bit and they will be heading for Championship at least, I used to watch Alan Stubbs play for Bolton as a teenager when they were in the basement division, before he broke his leg, and I think Dawson is easily as good as he was.
  16. Crowd Are Rehearsing Booing Representing Ignorance Not Intelligence?
  17. 100% agree, both looked fully focussed on getting ball. Hope he's soon on the road to recovery. To watch Fabregas fly through the back of a Stoke defender minutes before giving an interview implying they are always the victims stuck in the throat.
  18. I was actually at the Macc V Rochdale game today, long story, and to be honest he did ok but never looked like he was going to score. His goal today was a scramble which looked like it went in off a ricochet or squirted out of a challenge. That said, it was his only chance. He was an excellent outlet, holding the ball up well and bringing others into play, but most of his work was done in the channels down to the corners of the pitch. That same type of work that drew plenty of criticism in his time at BP, and no doubt would again. So...... although he's scoring a lot and whilst our fans think they miss him, I doubt that he would either make that much of a difference or be given a chance by the crowd to make a difference. It's an easy shout for people to slate the club and say now look what's happening, but I think reality would be quite different. For me, the stand out players for Rochdale were Craig Dawson, looks strong, quick, composed on the ball and is a goal threat at set pieces, and the left back Tom Kennedy who tackled well and never wasted the ball.
