    Two great goals, shame about M'voto, didn't look a particularly bad challenge but their player made the most of it and the referee reacted like a kid on Christmas morning

    Simple ideas are often the best - took my kids to the Blackpool game and they loved the poster programme, great idea, cheap so I bought them both one and now I've got Paul Black and Matt Smith competing with Messi and co on their bedroom walls

    It's really hard to warm to this guy, the fitness into pre-season sounded like a step in the right direction, but get him on a football field he's got the look of a man going through the motions. The performance against Blackpool was stellar compared to the one against Salford. The international games on the back of this send out a strong statement that we are back to square one.

    They didn't wear squad numbers today - that's why Smith was 10 - I don't think the keepers had any numbers today, Connor definitely didn't. Was quite impressed with him today, didn't have much to do but seemed like a good talker and organiser

    I think we had a Matty A Carr and Matty D Carr, guessing we kept one and let one go, think we kept the latter but not sure!

    The player with the Neymar haircut came on at left back last night, wasn't involved much

    I think I read that he'd be signed initially to play in the Bayern Munich second/development team which has just been relegated to the 4th tier of German league, so probably quite a bit!

    That's my way of thinking - Luton, Oldham, Toronto - things are looking up. When Dickov turned down New York for Oldham I thought he was insane!

    i'd like to think we are seriously interested in keeping Smalley and that the money is a back-up. Let's face it, if Smalley wasn't one of ours and had scored 12 in 28 for a team who got promoted from league 2 we'd be saying why would he sign for Oldham?? Or we couldn't afford him. The facts are we often drive these players out. I'd rather have the player than any money

    I just don't think Brill is as bad as people make out, or Amos was as good as people seem to think Amos made loads of mistakes that Brill would have been crucified for
