  1. I wonder whether Wilson will get a go instead of Dummigan, who panicked a bit at MK. I see that Nepo was left out after what I thought was an awful sub performance at MK.
  2. "Equinox" by Jean Michel Jarre, your image just reminded me of it. Sorry...
  3. Agreed. Perhaps he simply is now in a less crap position himself than before, and has clearer and more certain information to convey to us? I do hope so, he seemed direct and confident, which is good.
  4. Also BTW Richie said that he wanted more attacking options off the bench and said that he is looking forward to Holloway and Duffus being fit, which made me wonder what has happened with Osie? Is he long term injured or just not deemed ready for the first team? Does anyone have any info on that please?
  5. Good grief, I agree with you. And your cross dressing alter ego too.
  6. Thanks to those who posted the link. Really interesting. Some things that I noticed... Re Bryan, Byrne and Doyle. The guy who asked the question said "contract". As people have said, there is a contract between player and parent club and there is a contract between parent club and loan club. MM simply said "we are already in conversations to extend all 3 of them". Richie said that the chance to pick Placide was "a no brainer" for him. First meeting with EFL was 6 weeks ago when SC introduced Abdallah to them. All due diligence is answered + a round of qualifying questions too, so now it's purely with EFL and Abdallah's lawyers - can't say how long that will take as not in our control, but MM hopes that it should be no more than 4 -6 weeks. Interestingly that MM said when he was in Richie's office the phone rang and it was Alex Ferguson calling Richie. Not the other way around. MM (who was pretty direct and straightforward throughout) said that Abdallah has "seen some areas of the ground he would like to improve" [all of it I should think!] Maouche is "playing a few games for the development squad" and "Richie is looking to get him up to speed". No mention of Ambrose. New owner will not pick team, that's for the manager. However, his network and contacts will help with signing players. Wants SC to help with a handover including giving his own contacts - Scholesy etc? Mouldy Old Dough was brought back by "popular request". The people have spoken. It was confirmed by all concerned that the words "now" and "currently" have been replaced by the phrase "at this moment in time".
  7. It's not just the entertainment, which is of course very important and very welcome. It's also the vision and progress towards that in such a short time. That first goal was real "total football" style play. Richie just needs a bit more time to increase the % success and reduce the mistakes / panic. I'm sure he'll do that as confidence, belief and togetherness is obviously what he's pushing primarily in his "football philosophy" (!). So we have wonderful things to look forward to. Like others, I wonder how we will do on a muddy pitch in January / February, so not 100% confident of playoff place, but delighted with the "direction of travel".
  8. Almost - the much feted Banksy on the benchy in place of Tope.
  9. Ah Stevie, playing the old logic card eh? PS: who wants to win the premier league anyway? :-)
  10. I'm assuming this means that the Haiti player, Ambrose I think, is signed up and ready to play. Otherwise no, not enough cover.
  11. I wondering if we wanted it to be an interview, but Mr Scholes wanted it to be him giving us some advice!
  12. Crikey. They are being "reviled" already and they haven't even been revealed. That's Latics fans for you.
  13. That's right, and any sensible man in that position will put his family first, even if he loves OAFC.
  14. He was one of the top players in the world, but he has paid money to come and watch Oldham Athletic. I think that makes him a fan, even if he is not willing to give up part of his career or his wealth!
