Is our 2nd kit gonna be tangerine?

May be decent value....or maybe not who knows! What I do know is I'm REALLY looking forward to next season already which I haven't said for many a year. Great new signings, a new pitch, an actual plan, and an owner I just fucking love! Roll on the fixtures release date

It's not your money is it, so if Frank wants to spend some cash on a right back which the management team think will improve us then it's fine with me whoever it is. If then he wants to spend on a centre back that's also fine. I wish some fans would stop taking like it's their money....

Sort of agree, but he did play for Mac on loan for half a season in league 2 before going to Chesterfield I think, where I guess he was on decent money. He joined us on Jan 7th which was directly linked to our upturn in form, so I'm sure we have offered him what we believe he is worth wages and contract length wise. If he turns us down then its disappointing but we only want players here next season that are 100% committed to Oldham Athletic.

Back on topic....Frank is a tip top bloke and we are lucky to have him as our owner I'm actually excited about next season and the fixtures release for the first time in years, and it's all down to Mr Rothwell. I thank you

Yes but this included about 13000 for the FA vase final. Speaking to some fans Halifax took about 8k and Gateshead 6k I went to support my local team Ascot United and very few stayed for the trophy final as it was a 2 hour wait! Not the easiest trip home either for Gateshead and Halifax finishing at 630pm on a Sunday night. Next year we will take 20k to the final

Genuine question....has he played many minutes for the B team this season and if so how did he get on? Understand there have not been a plethora of games.... Also has there been any solid interest from bigger clubs in signing him? In my experience at his age there would be plent if he has what it takes.

I watch a lot of youth team and U23 football as my son's at Woking Dave. Unless they show outstanding technical ability at 16/17 it's unlikely that they will be able to cope with first team football. My lads a great player, 17 next month but a fair way off the first team. As someone else said Forshaw struggled at Avro on loan? It also depends where you play. Striker is probably the most difficult position for a youngster to make an impact against much bigger, more physical and experienced centre backs. For example how would he get on against Yarney and Clarke in practice games? The coaching staff should have a good idea and act accordingly...

Unfortunately I couldnt get to the game last night. Can anyone let me know if there was any positity about Sambou's performance? Any views if we should try and keep him?

I think the club knew all about Coleclough before your recommendation...and he did jack shit in Jan and Feb for Chesterfield as they bombed. Seems like he is coming into somedecent form now though... Trust in Frank....Coleclough will turn out to be a bad egg....

Despite this seasons poor quality in the main, I think we'll be close next season when he has 12 months of learnings from the many mistakes he has made.. Be great if you could give Unsworth some credit when it's due BP and start to get behind him a bit more. Tip for you.....if your still doing a bit of scouting for the club, maybe don't criticise the manager at every opportunity on a message board I'm sure he is aware of...you may get a better response

Don't think they have won a game when he has played! He deffo hasn't scored so maybe we made the right decision. His arrival seems to coincide with Chesterfields complete implosion this season! .....fast forward 45 mins...he scores a hat trick in a 3-1 Chesterfield win v Oldham

Yep agree with a lot of this. Look at Marc at Dorking. When they were shit at defending against us he just came out and said it as it was, and everyone loved him for it...bar the Dorking defenders of course

I've been watching us since the Frizzel era and seen plenty of shite performances trust me! We could very well look a lot better with a new manager and different tactics. Or we could look the same or even worse....who knows. I'm just saying our current squad is still miles off Wrexham and Notts C standards, and our current form is probably the best we can hope for whoever is in charge. Any takers for any of our squad getting in the top 2s starting 11??

Honest question Joe. Do you think since Jan 1st with the squad we have, we should be doing better than W4 D3 L1? And granted we are not the most attractive footballing team at the moment, but how would you change things? Starting 11/formation etc?
