Nobody is interested in the past. Is there a reason you haven’t replied to my previous post? I’ll put it more simply. What are you offering that is it tangibley different to what we’ve got? The answer is nothing. I will keep bringing this up until you acknowledge your complete double standards. You protested last time. An you backed off because in your own words ‘you didn’t like the people involved’ My view is, you were to weak to follow through on what you truly wanted and/or didn’t like the flack. (Fair enough) On the opposite side of that. Underdog for example has taken so much stick over the years it’s not true. Culminating with recently being harassed right in front of her face. However she has remained progressional, and articulate and good humoured. You on the other hand, did the rallying call- (fair enough) didn’t like the heat (fair enough) but then you have the audacity to come on and question in depth the people who do stay, and in the main are doing the things you want anyway. You have zero credibility in regards to change for two reasons. 1. You had a chance, and didn’t like it. Yet still you criticise. 2. You offer nothing, that A, it’s different. An B, would actually affect the club at all.

The idea of an independent supporters trust who hold fundraisers, bring fans together, and help the club with things like a new lawnmower sounds great. The idea deal of a ‘war chest’ is for the birds. Let’s say people come together, and work their arse off to raise 500k (even that would be a monumental effort) what does that cover??? 5/6 first team wages for a year. Terrific. You say it would get rid of cliques, what happens when ‘the three leaders of independent group’ want to try and bid for the club. (With their war chest. . . ) Suddenly they are seen as thinking there shit doesn’t stink. (As you saw from first hand) The point is a lot of you want to change already happens in some form, playershare, fundraisers, it could be argued that it could be bettered and built on. But they exist. You aren’t coming up with anything radical or new. The things you don’t like , are human nature. They will always be cliques, there will be people jostling for position, while they smile at you politely. It's what Makes the world turn round. To use your earlier metaphor, you are like the independent group in parliment, all shiny and new. People listen for a while because you hold no power or responsibility. Then you get in power, and people realise your just like the last lot.

I agree with your sentiment. Only issue is, will AL want that kind fan involvement? Absolulety not. His ego alone wouldn’t let him.

What Eyrsey said. I will add this, the chances of success under AL are very slim. Fractured clubs don’t tend to do well. Blackpool is really good example. They went up despite all the off field stuff, and played in front 2000 fans. Why? If it’s all about success? Surely by your way of thinking they should of had bumper crowds on the back of a promotion but they didn’t. For lots of small clubs they are at the heart of the community, they want to see it thrive in every aspect. Not just at 3pm on Saturday. Seasons ticket sales aren’t down because we are out of form. Or not in the playoffs. (In fact they went up after we got relegated last season) They are down because people have become weary/apathetic to how the club is run. It will need a sustained period of quiet and stability for a lot of fans to come round IMO. Will we get it? Probably not.

So where do you stand again?

Still need to win every game for playoffs IMO. Tall order. Great win though!

We’re good at winning football matches aren’t we? The crowds are flocking down to watch us finish as high as possible. Season tickets are on the up, because all people care about is watching french 4th division players. We sack managers in our thirst for promotion. Fuck the bills, the staff, as long as we win. . . . Yeah. It’s all about the football.

When will you all realise it’s not about the football or the division??? We’re all hurting because the club feels lost. The community feels lost. Get that back and it doesn’t matter what division we’re in. Look at Wimbledon. I wish people would stop stressing about League footballl. An concentrate on getting our identity back.

Aye. I fancy us tomorrow. Lots of the teams we are about to play have a lot more to lose than us. We can play with a bit more freedom.

I don’t think you get there not paid. . . I would imagine your questions come about 17th on their daily to do list. Maybe sometimes they can answer, maybe sometimes they can’t. That’s life. The level of detail you require (whilst not unreasonable) does need somebody to be on top of things all the time. Not for an hour in the evening when they finally get chance to sit down. So yes, is it to much ask that they will always know even relativity simple things, because they just haven’t had the time to check/speak to somebody. Worth remembering IMO.
