Diego_Sideburns
Rochdale weather from met office http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/nw/...st_weather.html If that's accurate, and the covers do their job, it should be OK at 10:00am. RobOAFC
If that's accurate, and the covers do their job, it should be OK at 10:00am. Our covers protect it to -4? + Dales so hopefully all will be well..

Got a good chance of being on, need to get this game out of the way so we can get in our rightful place in the league.

TwentySixBlack
BBC now forecasting light snow showers pretty much all day tomorrow... Perhaps they can use one of those stupid orange balls from the cup game. Should actually be able to see it this time.

Diego_Sideburns
Rochdale want volunteers to meet at 9:00am to help remove the covers from the pitch. They're also seeking divot-replacers. http://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/page/NewsDeta...2227678,00.html
rudemedic
My phone gives the Rochdale temperature as -5 at the moment. In the part of Rochdale where my parents live its -6 currently. Fortunately spotland is an east to west ground so the bigger side stands don't have the same effect as at Bp. Think it could be off though
rosa
How icy have the pavements been in Rochdale? I could be wrong but i'd guess that if the terracing's slippy, it won't matter if the pitch is playable.

oafc1955
Even if the pitch is OK to start with by half time it will be rock hard and with the previous game being abandoned I reckon they won't want to go through all that again. It's the Ref's call but I can't see anything else but a postponement!

It's the Ref's call but I can't see anything else but a postponement! its been mild all night, just got in from work and car not frozen solid, very light frost on the windows....temp outside was flickering between 0 and 1,so if it carrys on like this it should be played...they have forcast very light snow showers, which means temp will rise anyway... if they get this one wrong and get everyone in and abandon it again i think its fair to say there will be a riot.lol

ghostofcecere
Just done an airport run, and as I live in Rochdale I thought I'd drive by Spotland. Although there is snow on the ground my car was showing -0.5 degrees, so ireckon it will be on.
