singe Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 My hunch is that it is we will run out of money at the end of the season. Next year drastically reduce the budget if not promoted. It will certainly be aimed at th eCouncil, and rightly so. Interesting that it is an exclusive by the Chron, that may mean a front page. Such a shame it is not for positive reasons. It's so frustrating, every time we look like we're going to do something ON the field, the OFF-FIELD negativity destroys everything. It is a very worrying time and could destroy the momentum that PD has built. Just like in 02/03, every time we looked like nicking an auto place another financial bombshell hit. So, what I've been told is that he's said that he's off (I don't know what timescales are involved) and that he's casting doubt on whether football will be played at Boundary Park next season. To be honest, the realists amongst us knew that we'd end up ground sharing anyway. Whether there'll be a club left to request a ground share is another discussion…. Corney exclusive has a "That's it, We're Off" header on the front and him merged onto the front of a 3-sided BP. I'm hoping the "We're Off" means Tameside or somewhere rather than anything else...
