JoshOWTB
I was hoping he would score and prove me wrong - I'd look like a prat but take one for the team. Matt Smith saves the day! Barnard was still :censored:
Crusoe
You're wrong, in my opinion. He got bugger all service and bugger all change out of Everton's defence. Iwelumo was worse.
b0ndl1ne
Josh you're stupid fella, hardly lost the ball when under pressure and able to lay it off more often than not. Played a lot better when Smith came on. Look how Jelavic played...much much worse
jbrown23
thought Iwelumo was pretty awful myself apart from a few touches. But who cares, reply at Goodison!
Ross2509
Barnard played well, was composed with little service. Iwelumo was a disgrace though!
Stevie_J
Iwelumo wasn't great (I wouldn't go as far as saying :censored:). I said Smith should start and I stand by it - he made a big difference the minute he came on. Barnard was isolated first half, got more involved in the second. porkpie_blue
Barnard is a big plus. He worked his socks off tonight againt international players as did all of the team. Tarko was immense.
Crusoe
Barnard did well with the limited chances he had. I agree, Smith looked like he offered more than Iwelumo. But that's cool with me, Iwelumo's on loan and can be an impact sub.
BlueInAus
Yeah, Iwelumo is either not trying, or is in absolutely no form. We all know he is slower than a sloth after xmas dinner, but he wasn't even physical today. When Matt came on for him, we were a different team. That is really saying something - a player, who a lot of people on here said is not good enough for league football, showing you how it's done. Smith has to start ahead of him as soon as he is fit enough. Pure and simple. I thought Barnard was good, harried their defenders all game and tracked back. It's not all about scoring, as long as someone scores!

JoshOWTB
Alright alright I get it - bit emotional! Fairplay to all the players - they played thier parts!
Crusoe
Iwelumo wasn't awful, but he wasn't brilliant. Smith has earned a starting place. But yeah, generally, credit to the entire team. Everyone did well. Mvoto, despite getting outpositioned, redeemed himself with a couple of brilliant last ditch tackles in the second half. Furman did well when he came on for Wes, too. oafc1955
Do you know, there is some :censored:e spouted on here.......Iwelumo did pretty good with his hold up play and deft headers, Barnard played his part and worked his bloody socks off. To put it into context Fellaini would command a transfer fee in excess of the total value of our entire playing staff and the football club itself....I really don't know what some of you expect!! Terrific display from everyone today, Tarky will be a top player, grounds played well, Baxter was class but a little too deep, however my MOM by a mile was Croft who worked his bollocks off and hardly gave the ball away all match. Crusoe
Yeah, either Tarky or Croft my MOM. Hard to pick between them.

opinions4u
Looks :censored: tonight. What's he done all game? A few passes and quite a few fouls. Waste of space! You don't understand football.

disjointed
Barnard is a quality player who gives the team an extra dimension, he works hard tracking back, can run the channels, has a great touch, and he can dish it out, well played again Lee Barnard. Schlieb
Pissed and definately timenfor bed now but - feck off! Step away from the internet and re-watch the match son Have to agree, and pretty pissed myself! But Josh your judgement seems so off the mark it's unreal. The only player who's causes me concern is iwelumo, yet he has his good moments and is constantly talking which seems to help. I'm still unconvinced about him and would prefer smith but not to say he's no good. Barnard however is class
SavageTheBeast
Barnard up against distin and jagielka what do you expect and shows something when they give man of match to their defender. What a moron
