Stevie_J
Club officials are also trying to find the fan who got Smith's shirt - to ask them to return it to Boundary Park. Good luck with that one!
SavageTheBeast
Good luck with that one! the fan who got it was a city fan anyway so no chance of him returning it
marhar
I've only read the article posted above and to me it just invites the reader to join the dots - there was a notice - Smith threw his shirt - there is an automatic fine, I doubt he's been fined or will be
Hands on
This is newspaper stupidity. He is not going to be fined. I hope he is throwing a shirt into the crowd after our visit to Goodison.
Twisbrogan
1. It's a story in the Daily Star 2. If he was being fined, it would be for publicity purposes (to highlight our cash-strapped plight) and I've no doubt what would be taken with one hand would be replenished, with interest, by the other. Diego_Sideburns
From now on you can expect the media to attempt to rock the bandwaggon, on which they've all jumped. The nearer Latics get to the Cup Final and a place in Europe, the more they will mix the David v Goliath image with stories aimed at undermining the squad's solidarity. Don't believe the hype, don't believe the :censored:e!
laticdickovarmy
He could just go in the club shop and buy another Oh and a flick of the head just earnt the club 400k No way will he be fined not if the club want him to sign a new deal anyway in the summer
LaticsPete
When did he throw it? He had it on during the post match interviews.
LaticsChris
When did he throw it? He had it on during the post match interviews. When they came out again for the warm down/lap of honour I believe.
oafcprozac
He won't be fined, nor will he have to buy a new shirt. Why? Darth Hardy has retired……* I still remember Craig Fleming having ti buy his own boots. "Of course you can have a new pair of boots Craig, come with me lad, we'll do you a competitive deal…"

AndyGortonsMatches
Leighton Baines had one of our shirts at FT, so another fine in the offing ? Ridiculous, wholesale cost to the club for these shirts will be peanuts... as proved at end of season when they're flogging them off for a fiver. beag_teeets
Perhaps Croft hasn't lost as much weight as we think, merely that we have run out of the shirts he used to wear and he now has to wear a tighter fitting one?
