welshgaz
I will start by saying TP is being stubborn and refusing to change it when he has blatantly got it wrong putting him there. He is not a centre midfielder especially when we are supposed to be fighting for our lives. Too many misplaced passes and Hollywood balls. Less said about the pen the better. 4froale
As I've said many times he is being wasted in midfield. Please drop iwelumo on Tuesday and play Baxter just behind Barnard with smith coming into midfield

No, plenty needs saying about that penalty. He took that for Jose Baxter not Oldham Athletic. I would drop the arrogant little cock for Tuesday at least. As for Omolumpa, I never want to see him in a Latics shirt again.
Lee Sinnott
I love the man and even named my new dog after him, but he should have his contract ripped up for that embarrassing spot kick..
BluesFan
Embarrassing spot kick it was, which has cost us today
GlossopLatic
I think that should have acted as a wake up call for jose even taking aside the pen miss he had a poor game complacency has crept into his game.
shaw_blue
poor since he signed his contract, poor passing, his crossing is weak, doesn't get stuck into a tackle enough, took the most advertised spot kick ever today 95% of the ground knew what was going to happen but still our only threat i somehow think we are in the sh*!e!!!! Wardie
What was probably said... Howe to Allsop: If they get a pen, Baxter will take it and dink it down the middle. Allsop: Yes boss. What should have been said... TP to Baxter: If we get a pen, ffs, do not try and dink it down the middle. Baxter: Yes boss.

stargazer
He was poor , and has been for a few games. Overhit passes , shots off target . Every journeyman player would have walloped the penalty knowing it's importance ,ability not in doubt , common sense is though.
Schlieb
Best comment I heard all game was straight after that pen... "were going down now and it's all thanks to that dickhead" pmsl alright mate!
Lee Sinnott
To be fair to the keeper, it was a world class save. He had already dived and managed to claw his hand back to save it. That, however, doesn't excuse the penalty.

His reaction save to the one that was eventually flagged for offside was a Worldy.
welshgaz
Is it not Ryan? Either way he was impressive with the little we threw at him
slystallone
Is it not Ryan? Either way he was impressive with the little we threw at him Could be tbf - i just went off the Bournemouth fans chant as I was leaving the paddock. Its sounded like "there's only 1 Brian Allsop"....? Anyhow - looks a cracking GK whatever his 1st name is.

rudemedic
Their GK is the reason why an England International has left the club by mutual consent. Was very impressed with him and Sly is right that save he made when Simpson was flagged offside was excellent.

oafc_fan
it was like watching a sinking ship in ultra slow motion with that penalty.
iamjonesyyoafc
the whole ground knew what he was going to do, and it was such a poor chip at that. more pace and more height and it would have gone in, it seemed to take 2 or 3 seconds for it to reach the goal. disjointed
Sack the groundsman, those penalty spots should be nurtured to accommodate the dink.
sykelatic1
EVERYONE in the ground (and possibly the world) knew he would attempt to chip it !

Wardie
And miss it. He didn't miss it, the 'keeper saved it. A miss is when the ball clears or hits the bar, goes wide or hits the posts.
