I really am concerned and I am sure its rubbish, but It would be ideal to see who is concerned so perhaps the poll can be seen and the club can make an official statement. Well, I was tempted to write 'bull Sh**' but I felt saga looked more formal ha! The idea is for Barry Owen to see the poll, understand those who have voiced their concerns at the story coming up in the media and make an official statement, either rubbishing it or confirming it. I just don't want to over-inflate a situation, which people closer to the club than the BBC (Mainly the Chron and MEN) are saying it's very unlikely. Vaughan is a crooked businessman who has crippled two football clubs and the first person to fail the fit and proper persons test, Hughes was just one player, long term who is most likely to damage the long term future of our club? I am very concerned about Vaughan taking over. I don't think he will bring in the riches to get us promoted and I do think he will further alienate some of our fans. I can only see this ending badly. I'm sure Paddy understands but was trying to be provocative to make a point. To answer his question, scruples went out of the window when we were signing a scumbag who we knew would notch a few goals but not when someone who poses a threat to the club's existence is showing an interest. Anyway, the least of Vaughan's problems is his previous convictions. Vaughan's problem is he's already all but destroyed two football clubs.
