Best League in the World

So I got into an argument with an armchair United fan and a City fan that never goes to away games about just what is the best league in the world and during the argument it occurred to me that I'd probably be better off asking loyal fans with no concrete affiliation to any of the teams in any of the leagues which would cause bias, as in the case of the United and City fan.

 

So what do you think?

League or division? I reckon the premiership averages top, although struggling against the very best of Spain and now perhaps Germany and France. Lower leagues it's England by a country mile

All depends on what constitutes "best".

 

I'd say the factors need to be:

 

Excitement

Skill

Star Names

Value for money

Atmosphere

 

I've gone for the german bundesliga.

 

 

What sets england apart is the fact it's so strong over all 4 divisions, but for an individual league - Germany

For me, you couldn't beat the good old English First Division - pre Premier League.
