LaticsEddie Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Without hesitation said we've got the best pies in the country with a "Generic meat pie". No word if it was pre Clayton or not but never the less a great achievement for the catering staff at Boundary Park! Worst went to Arsenal and it cost a tenner! Quote
palmer1 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 He first said it in 94 when played boro in the premier league. The last time the pies were good at latics Quote
L1onheartNew Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Barry Davies was also an advocate of BP Pies Quote
Stevie_J Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Pukka pies were goodSo good he said it twice. Quote
LaticsEddie Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Pukkas were alright yeah. Claytons arent bad but they certainly aint good. My best pie has got to go to Preston, even they're not the greatest. Kidderminster the worst, and a rip off! Quote
jsslatic Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Hartlepool are my favourite although I understand half of our fanbase were wiped out one year by a dodgy batch. Quote

JohnnyPimp Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 The sausage roll I have at Bristol City This year was awful. Won't be touching that again One of the lads we were with at Brizzy drenched his hot dog in boiling water from the hot water tank. When asked what the hell he was doing he said he thought it was hot sauce. Quote
MAC0AFC Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 shrewsbury sell a chicken tikka pie and that's the nicest I've had for a long time... it's a small local bakery that supply the pies as well, very very nice Quote
Lee Sinnott Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Don't Rochdale do some kind of meal... Quote
LaticsEddie Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Pie supplier at Preston ............................. Claytons!!!! Well your consistent with your views on pies Really!? Well then maybe it's the room temperature pie and freezing conditions at BP that are the problem and not the supplier Quote

leeslover Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Whatever happened to the curries at BP? Good idea albeit potentially messy after 46th minute goals Quote
longtimeblue Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Not strictly football grub but I snook in pie and chips from that rated Chippy next to Gresty Road last year. I've never enjoyed food at a match as much as I enjoyed that on a cold Tuesday night after a long day at work. Quote

I've never enjoyed food at a match as much as I enjoyed that on a cold Tuesday night after a long day at work. The chippy next to Gresty Rd is fantastic. I tried to go one day when I had to go to Crewe for work and was devastated to find it had shut five minutes before my arrival. Quote
Delph One Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Sound chippy. Went one year per season got fish and chips and took them in no probs. Quote
iamjonesyyoafc Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 current pre-Tuesday night home game ritual is to get a pizza from Lalah's takeaway on Rochdale Road on the way to he ground. Absolutely love it. Quote
