cornishblue
I am right in thinking looking at tonight's results that are possible next opponents in the JPT will be one of the following, seeing that we were placed in the North East section:- Doncaster Notts county Sheff utd
MAC0AFC
Notts or Doncaster at home would be alright
Chaddy_Ender
can we not get Bury, Walsall, Preston or Tranmere then ?
oafc1955
According to Danny Wilson.........In the second half we ( Barnsley ) were magnificent and carved out chance after chance. We didn't deserve to win because of our 1st half performance but neither did Oldham for their 2nd half performance. Is that bull:censored: or a fair assessment? So we'll get one of the remaining 7 northern teams

Thwy had a really decent 10min spell in the 2nd half where they took it to us, for the 1st time mind. After that, we came back into it. Their 90th minute equaliser was against the run of play. The beligured ramblings of a manager who is facing a tough spell - lots of money spent on the squad, but little return so far. He wont be there too much longer IMO... They would bring 500 max for JPT, if we dont give a sh*t about it, they certainly dont!
TheBigDog
They would bring 500 max for JPT, if we dont give a sh*t about it, they certainly dont! Over 500 from Barnsley last night - if it was Preston or Sheffield United, I would expect 750 minimum.
cornishblue
It would still be 2-300 more than Tranmere, Walsall or Notts County at home though.

Agreeded especially if the club keeps the prices at a £10 for adults, i reckon there would be 750 -1000.

Break The Silence
Last night was ace. Entertainment wise, the best £10 i've spent in ages. I want the :censored:test team left in it, at home, so as to increase the chances of progressing. I couldn't care less how many fans they bring. oafcprozac
Best attacking performance in a long time just s shame we lack that real killer instinct 6-1 would not have flattered us. Thought Tidser and Dieng were excellent amongst a very good team performance. For the first time since Dowie we look like a real team and the changes last night possibly should have affected momentum but if anything we looked even better. The squad looks like they're all pulling together, get that goalscorer in and we've a chance to look up the league....
Forte_Baby
Interesting some of the people slating the competiton however if the football League followed suit they do in Scotland and played the earlier rounds Pre Season would it appeal to more people? peanuts
Interesting some of the people slating the competiton however if the football League followed suit they do in Scotland and played the earlier rounds Pre Season would it appeal to more people?they used to do this with the Anglo Scottish cup which got some good gates think this competition is a nice fit between going out of the FL cup and the start of the FA cup for lower league clubs we could be out of both this and the FL cup before the seasons a month old good place to blood youngsters during the season and ease them in

I'd be a big fan of that, it would also give pre-season a bit more importance.
