I do wonder how these negotiations are actually going...

LATICS - "We want you to sign"

CHED - "OK"

(Latics' solicitors trying to make sure all our sponsors don't leave)

LATICS - "Speak to you later Ched"

Whatever is about to happen, I do, always have [since 6th Dec 1986] and will always, forevermore, love my football club. No-one [individual or otherwise] will make me feel any different.

Agreed (since November 14th 1970). Whether/ when I will be going to watch them again in the future isn't as easy to answer.

I wouldn't blame him if he did and would wish him luck and a successful career.

This.

But I would be very dissappointed for Latics.

if LJ does stay and we sign Ched then it would be something that he would have on his CV for future roles.

Manager interview:

Chairman: "What is the most difficult man management situation you have faced?"

LJ: "Difficult one......but I suppose the time a previous Chairman brought in a convicted rapist over my head in the middle of a media storm and I succesful integrated him in to a side that had its highest finish in 5 years"

From the Mirror online

And here is the statement.

Oldham Athletic statement reads:

"We will not be extending an invitation for Ched Evans to train or will we be offering him a contract"

i think that is the statement from last month?
