laticsmarra
2nd director to resign within 12 months of appointment Newton being previous one. Talking of Due Diligence something isn't quite right, need some better due diligence when offering seats on the Board. Or maybe it takes them a couple of months to do their own DD and decide it's not for them.
Diego_Sideburns
So the Commercial Director who's also a life-long Latics fan resigns, and they still didn't anticipate sponsors pulling out and fans being annoyed? The more I hear, the more I think they just wanted to sign him because they could, it was nothing to do with morals or even football. Richard Taylor was not the Commercial Director, that's Mark Moisley who starts work soon. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/new-commercial-director-appointed-2138600.aspx
singe
So basically it was unanimous in the boardroom after a director who opposed it resigned over the affair......... sounds like a man of principle and good morals to me, exactly the type we need on the board. ...and Chair of the Trust. Hands on
We will never know the full story of Ched. Best thing to see is the Times article on Sunday. Sorry to see people coming and going but how many of us might jump for a place on the Board only to pull out when the reality hits - 90% of what you get is abuse! HarryBosch
He wasn't even here long enough for us to ask "what does he actually do?"

Surely if he was opposed then that should have been the end of it.
