Magister
Bloke on Twitter telling me as its a non standard punishment it covers all competitions regardless. So he's effectively only had seven proper games in his ban. Which stinks. Does non standard punishment = not " normal circumstances" then
BP1960
He missed the 2 checkatrade games...that is 9 So Fane misses the Walsall game?
Magister
So Fane misses the Walsall game? No because a red for 2 yellows is " normal circumstances"
opinions4u
I assume Fane misses two league games.
Magister
I assume Fane misses two league games. Second sending off so at least 2. Can play Tuesday
mcfluff1985
And they count towards the ban. EFL Trophy doesn't. Didn't realise they were in the

opinions4u
It started off as 12, and was reduced to 9 And now it's seven plus two "friendlies".

Stevie_J
Aren't we misinterpreting the rule that sets out that cards in the Checkatrade won't impact in terms of suspensions, etc, games in other competition? That doesn't necessarily mean that the suspensions picked up in the league aren't served in Checkatrade fixtures.

I think Magister's "normal circumstances" interpretation has been used by the FA here. Which feels wrong but fits the FA removing him from their disciplinary web site. BP1960
None of it makes common sense to me , but since when did the FA and EFL operate with common sense?
