Hands on Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Last season seemed to take all the spirit out of Holloway as he battled with defenders week in week out. He developed a style of leaning on and holding often ending with him on his backside with no free kick. Under Wellens he has developed into an impact player best suited to starting on the bench. This was shown again last night when coming on at half time he provided the assist for our equaliser. Problem I suspect is that he is using up too much of our budget for that role. Davies or Holloway? I wish him well and hope they can both stay but if one has to go to bring in another striker then I would keep Davies. BP1960 Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 I noticed Holloway played a different role last night moving out from the centre to make room for Davies instead of fighting for same ball.
