Inspiral_Carpet
get a certain Petroleum company to sponsor it, then we can simply call it... BP Genius!! As an aside, wouldn't it be funny if they discovered oil under BP when they are digging the bore-holes for the New North Stand. Latics would instantly become the richest Club in Britain and the Residents would get something a little different from a pleasant residential development on their door-step. carrabanana
The OWTB Stadium. The RWC Stadium (rarely wrong Chron). The CPP Stadium (Clayton Park Pies). Like the idea of the OWTB Stadium But it just makes me think that we should well all chip in and sponser something in the new stadium, don't know what though. After all, a lot of people on here did put a lot of effort in with organising the march and e-mailing councillers and whatever so this new stadium could be brought about in the first place... There is bound to be a buy-a-brick scheme, so there is scope for all sorts of names/messages/tributes, etc to be part of the Stadium's fabric. the_mighty_bosh
Very surprised that no-ones suggested the 'Residents Together Arena' yet! Seriously though I would stick with Boundary Park, yes I know selling naming rights to a company would get us £££ but is it really worth selling our soul for any money? Diego_Sideburns
... is it really worth selling our soul for any money? That's easy to ask when you haven't got debts.

LaticsChris
it would be worth renaming it because whatever they do, tics will always call whatevers on that site Boundary Park. If it was renamed it could simply be the renamed 'The (McDonalds) Sponsored Boundary Park, kinda like the FA Cup is the FA Cup Sponsered By E.On. PS Mcdonalds is just an example!
