Yeah and when he leaves everything will change?

Only a useless clown will work for the jokers who run our club.

Agents, only in it for themselves. They have infiltrated the game in recent years and not for the better IMO.

Not to the effect that we have now, rife in the game with overseas  agents.

I’m surprised you use this internet thing BP, that wasn’t around in “the good old days” either

Attacking football was common in the good old days, so was managers bringing in players they'd seen, not agents.

To be fair you quite frequently tell us about players you haven't seen, going off other people's opinions.

The opinions I receive now are from a Premiership club scout.

One young centre forward currently with a progressive rival L2  club, but not established in their first team has been recommended by him.

He thinks he will come good at another club and score plenty of goals.

Not sure he will be coming here, but I'll be watching JBs progress.

Why bring in the back pass rule then ? Attacking football is I’d say more common now ?

Sorry can't agree, possession, backwards and sideways passing is the name of the game now.

Time wasting is common today despite rule changes.

Ignoring that when a team went one nil up they’d just keep passing it back to the keeper to roll it out and receive it back again ? This was a rule change, alongside a change in the offside rule to allow games to be more attacking ?

Some things were probably better in the good olds days. But not EVERYTHING!!

I’m also sceptical that you could leave your door unlocked back then too.

By watching his progress you mean checking Ceefax to see if he's scored?

Don’t get him started on how the world went to hell when Ceefax and Teletext ceased to be,  Jesus

Of course some things are better now. I did live in the days of frozen outside toilets with the previous weeks Radio Times for wiping paper. (Never the TV Times, it was too shiny).😖

It really annoys me when a ref. watches a player walk off slowly from as far away as possible when being substituted if that team is either winning or holding out for a draw. The ref. just looks at his watch and adds time on at the end. The ref. should warn both teams before the game, that any player walking off slowly will be booked, and if he has already been booked he will be sent off and the sub. will not be allowed on.

New law this season - player has to leave pitch at the nearest point.

Good, but they will now probably make sure they are on the centre spot.

I'll give the boss an extended run and he'll still be here after Christmas because we'll stuff Crewe next saturday and he'll find that winning formula taking us top half
