  1. Teams seem to have sussed us out. Keep tight at the back against our fast breaks, then counterattack in numbers and shoot from outside the box.
  2. They are attacking our right-hand side, exposing Dummigan's defensive frailty.
  3. There is a small industrial estate opposite the stadium, where there are both paid parking and some free street parking. You have to be there early.
  4. Apparently 3300 sold of 3500 allocations for Rovers by tonight with still a day to go.
  5. Highlights now on fishul, free to view: https://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/2017/october/04102017-crewe-highlights/
  6. VPNs known to work with geo-restricted streaming services like Sky Go, such as Express VPN. It has 30-day money back guarantee. www.expressvpn.com Once you sign up, install its software/app on your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Then open the program, choose location outside UK and click to connect. Had no problem using UK credit card with UK registered address when paying for one game ticket for 6 euro. Don't know if you want season-long subscription at 130 euro.
  7. I don't think so. Have used two different VPNs and have been able to get live video on smartphone, laptop and desktop. But you can't get it on two different devices. A warning flags up and after the second or third, one gets cut off.
  8. Was watching iFollow and it seemed Pompey fans next to our end started reacting to our celebrations and some jumped over the fence to confront ours. Stewards and police intervened and looked like some arrests were made.
  9. Pay on the day confirmed on fishul. Around 500 out of 1,300 allocation available tomorrow at the away ticket office which is next to away turnstiles. You must buy ticket as entry is by scanning barcode..
  10. Normal allocation for away team is around 830 standing and 300 seated, but the latter can be increased. So we have only sold about half the allocation, and I would be very surprised if tickets aren't put on sale at the away end on Saturday.
  11. Last season, some were available from away ticket office next to away entrance on the day. Cash only IIRC.
  12. Those council-run car parks near the ground are expensive. £3.50 for 3 hours, £6 for 6 hours. Well patrolled by wardens so don't exceed the time. If you come down Central Drive and turn inland away from the coast, you will find plenty of free parking, and if you are there about an hour before, you'll have little trouble finding a space. Try to find a residential street with other private cars parked. There is no residential parking zone there.
  13. Yes. There will be no trains running between Manchester via Bolton to Preston on 26th August (day of the Blackpool match) and replacement bus service will run instead. But the Airport train (from Airport via Piccadilly to Blackpool North and other direct services between Manchester and Preston will be unaffected, as they will travel via Wigan. Expect some delays - check Network Rail Live Train information.
  14. From the fishul: 'Those who have not changed any details on their season ticket cards will automatically renew and be able to continue using the same card.' Do they read OWTB? Have they received 2,000 calls?
  15. It says on the official site that season ticket cards for the new season are available to collect from 24th July. When I renewed my season ticket, I was told that the existing card would be reactivated for the new year, so I have no new card to collect?
  16. How do I get the option to pay £110 for streaming match coverage? I am in UK but even if I use VPN, I still only get free or £45 as options.
  17. I'll be in London for Blackpool away. Hate Bloomfield Rd anyway so not too bothered.
  18. And will be reunited with his older brother Connor, from Fleetwood. They have only played a few times together for NI. Connor is out of contract at the Cods and though an offer has been made to him to keep him at Highbury, he is mulling over options, and reportedly several Championship teams are after him.
  19. Living and working in Blackpool, the toxic atmosphere surrounding the club is all too obvious. There are loads of ex-fans who wouldn't go anywhere near Bloomers until the Oystons leave. The team's on-field success this season is more to do with their manager who is an experienced campaigner and got them to play the way he likes (like Shez) rather than any effort by the owners. And the war of attrition between owners and the fans has gone on too much, goading the fans with numberplates on Karl's car (OY5OUT), getting a photo taken with protester's banner 'Oyston's Cashcow' and taking fans to court for defamation and libel - the list goes on. Fan's protest is water off a duck's back, they say they will never sell up while syphoning club's funds to prop up their other failing businesses. Personally it doesn't bother me whether we play them or not, but with Cods staying down, having two away ties within minutes of home is convenient.
  20. This season the attendance figure (averaging around 2,000 home fans) is more realistic, as many just didn't bother with season ticket. Three seasons ago, the club did a two-year deal for £100 more or something, and many did buy into it and simply didn't bother to use it in Year 2.
