1. I'm confused with Morais this season. We all knew he was going to be a bit of a maverick, a luxury player perhaps but last season he looked like creating things. He always tried to get his foot on the ball and drive forward being a constant threat to the opposition. All he had to do was to continue like that and he would hyave been a guarenteed starter every game. This season he has flattered to deceive. unable to find a blue shirt, poor attitude on the field and total lack of any product. I was genuine entertained when watching him last season so where has it all gone wrong? On form he can be excellent but that just hasn't materialised. At the moment he is a liability with zero ball retention. As mentioned pre Bradford game, a half fit parker would currently be a better option that a fully fit morais and this was proven on Tuesday. Parker to start tomorrow for me as despite such a long time out it really didn't show. When given his next chance morais needs to keep it simple and retain possesion. he is clearly the most talented player at this club but currently the most frustrating. unfortunately the key to success at the moment is roughyl 10% ability and 90% application, for Filipe this seems to be the reverse
2.

I couldn't have put that better myself!
3. From what I've seen Robbie Simpson seems to be a fairly genuine lad obviously enjoying his football here. Whilst he may have his head turned by bigger propositions who is to say that it wouldn't turn out like it did for him at Hudds? As far as i can see the lad is already a 'tic in all but writing and would be very surprised if he chose elsewhere
4. I pretty much agree with Sly and Razza on their points, the thing that stood out for me was Jimbo Wes who was furious at some of the utter :censored:e decisions and he was really pumped during the second half. Great performance. Parker did very well after being out so long. his pace is frightening and the first thing he did was rinse their defender and get a dangerous ball in. As touched on Shefki probably had his worst game but still bagged and performed his defensive duties fantastically. Tracking back down the left wing in the second half to assist is just a mark of the professional. I wasn't too fussed about the result for this game beforehand but seeing how much a tool Parkinson was and the dirty tactics used by the Bradford players left me wanting to beat them badly. I haven't gone as mad for a goal in a long time! Great feeling about the cub at the moment and great team spirit, there is a good bunch of lads here all through the side.
5. 'Second away game on my own (well with my mate), first was Anfield a few weeks before when I went and stood on the Kop due to the ridiculous £13 they wanted in the away end. Got in The Kop for a fiver. For the Villa game again they wanted summat stupid like £14 to sit in the away end so paid a fiver again and stood on the Holte End, what an experience, never been so terrified, nervous and delighted all at the same time'. So you didn't miss it then, not really the point of this thread
6. Cant we just kidnap him? Not my bag but i'm sure razza wouldn't mind locking him up for a few weeks?
7.

Bang on Razza, for some reason after that incident there was no way back for him with the fans despite doing nothing wrong on the pitch. He was treated like a lepur from that day on and it was totally over the top. Yes the lad was a few sandwiches short of a picnic but lets face it Hughes wasn't exactly the moststable individual yet he was idolised. If he had headbutted the opponent at rochdale he would have been held in even higher esteem than he already was. I remember his first game back was away at Huddersfield? He pulled is tripe out when he came on. great footballing ability as has been shown but probably just a bit too mental. Got a brace for Barnsley at the weekend. I wouldn't have him back now but would have seriously considered it in the seasons inbetween as our toothlessness upfront has been laughable.
8.

otherwise known as stating the bleeding obvious then?
9.

They knew the score beforehand??????!!!!!!!!! If they had advertised it to see us win 2-0 against bury that would have been much better
10.

what sort of statement is this?
11. linked up really well with big Oumare early days last season. Fingers crossed for the lad as he had potential. Lets hope his time out hasn't been too detrimental.
12. Exactly, whilst we could and should have done better a lot of people are losing sight of the fact that we are proceeding in cup competitions and probably where we will end up in the league. granted with tighter defending and some better finishing we may be touching the play off spots but we are scoring goals and getting reasonable results. I am not for one moment suggesting that we should be satisfied with that and so should the players (from Kuqi's reactions you can tell that is far from the case) but the way that some people are going on you would think that we were in a terminal decline. Dickov and the lads know where we are coming up short. Enjoy being in the next round of two cups and stop bitching
13.

why? Seems a bit silly to me
14.

Shhh!!! Don't you know the team is rubbish, we failed to score 10, didn't beat Bury etc etc!
15. Ha ha, just reminded me of the old chinese proverb! Man with hole in pocket feels cocky all day!
16.

From what I have seen Cisak is much better than Amos was when he was here. first real mistake and as a goalkeeper it happens. The lad still had a good game despite the error especially the save in the first half at point blank range. I thought it loked soft at the time and the footage confirms that. One to learn from I think.
17. I agree, under Penney Furman looked nothing more than a bandy legged wheezer however his transformation under Dickov has been amazing and he really can drive the team at times. His pairing with Wes seems to be working very nicely so far with goals coming from the middle of the park not to mention a couple of excellent passes which have created. I thought that playing a second 90 mins so soon after his come back may have effected him but he seemed to get through ok. At the moment I can't think of any menbers of the current first teamers team which I wouldn't extend their contract.
18. It looks like the club made the right call regarding admission prices then if this is to be the case. at £2 I doubt that we would have had anywhere near 8500 fans on Monday. It is a sad state of affairs but that is where we are, people other than the hardcore ane simply not that interested unless it is a real pull such as Everton away in the FA cup.
19. Goals win games so Kuqi all day. A goalscorer which we have been crying out for. Credit to Dickov though, Wes has been a very steady performer in the centre and Cisak again has been super consistent. I have been impressed with Clarke although he did have a stinker down at Col U. I couldn't grumble with any of those but at the end of the day it is Kuqi who is getting me out of my seat and cheering!
20.

I said this also, both seemed to link up very well and we seemed to be more of an attacking threat. taking nothing away from reid though, player of the season thus far for me
21. I've no problem with this to be honest, he is MK's manager and will focus on them. By saying we played well in a way justifies their performance . If he feels they should have done better then that is all that matters really. Just because we felt latics played well doesn't mean that he does.
22.

On a similar note look at just how many clubs on the continent have changed or merged over the years and a large number also going out of existence. Not just teams which make up the numbers either some which were playing in European competitions. It appears that we are a lot more emotionally attached over here and such things would be considered sacrilege. I'm not a fan of MK by any stretch of the imagination but on the face of it the move seems to be a correct one. They have their own ground and have grown and are growing. It wasn't great for the fans at the time and they had a decision to make. On the flip side it can also be argued that those who wanted to remain loyal to Wimbledon have more than they did pror to the move to the National Hockey Stadium. Although they are still without their own ground the journey has been incredible. Wimbledon as they were were in a mess and Winkleman had no obligation to bankroll them. Whilst I'd love to see MK slip into oblivion I'd bet that the AFC fans are happier now than they had been for a while before Winkleman took them up the road.
23. That collection from Cisak near the end made sure we sealed the 3 points. Great keeping in those conditions. I think this lad has been an unsung hero this season
