1.

I remember playing Breeze Hill once and I didn't even get a touch of the ball..... .... I was the Goalkeeper mind!
2. Thank god for that, I have never had a go at the lad but CM just simply isn't hyis position. He failed far to often to get a foothold in the game. On the odd occasion where he got wound he would put in a reasonable shift but too anonymous for most of the time. Young Youssef looked more lively in there and hopefully he will get a shot at showing what he can do, at least he had a part in our last goal!
3. Been very complimentary about us if you ask me and saying it very much like it is. Shame that our fans aren't as sensible sometimes.
4. I hate to dredge up ex tics but Andy Holt for me is ideal there, someone like that. I don't think that LB is our biggest worry though is it? Lets face it, we aren't shipping many goals and the ones we do are by and large silly set pieces!
5.

I'm just struggling to see where we would get better than Black? Solid at this level and just a bit cinfused as to what people are expecting. If there were viable alternative suggestions then I am all for improving in that area, its just that nobody can seem to come forward with any despite saying we need to get rid. Alright having an opinion but back it up
6. I dont understand the dislike for Diamond, we have been a far better team with him in the side. A true leader, will try and stop anything and an experienced head. Better than Tarky and able to steady big Jean, ok he does have some heart in mouth moments but I thought he distributed the ball well and looked o feet up the channel a lot. Tarky is a prospect but his rawness showed recently and was making a lot of mistakes. For me I would keep: GK - Cisak, Bouzanis RB - Lee, CB - Mvoto, Diamond, Tarky LB - Black, Diallo We would need cover at RB only here, if people think that we can readily replace Black then they are on glue, steady LB's arent readily available and he has shown that he was better in that position than Evina for defensive qualities and Diallo is no worse than teh average out there LW - Morais/KMB CM - Wes, Furman RW - Morais/KMB I know that simmo can fill in but I think he is wasted on the wings, Morais has been our best player since the Charlton away game and a real shame that he got shunted on Sheepfoot Lane! KMB has looked lively and a real prospect. We need to sign another out and out winger though and cover at CB. As has been touched on Adeyemi has changed the whole dynamic of the team and a real failing in Dickov to persevere with him considering he has been so anonymous and unable to get in the game, a real weak link unfortunately. CF, Simpson, Kuqi, Reid I see no reason to al;ter this, Kuqi needs to stay in the box or that area however as totally ineffective working too far away from his strike partner. For me we need 3 or 4 signings to improve the squad and build again. Despite the recent poor run I am convinced that we have improved on last season. Better runs in the cup and Ifeel that we have only bueen udone in the league due to injuries to our key players in Wes and Furman, they really do make us tick and we were at our best with them in the side together. We will not be promotion contenders next season and people have far too high expectations of this club at the moment however keep the core together, bnukld on areas where we are weak (full back, CM and wing) and we will improve, that is good enough for me at the moment
7.

Or tat we didn't play midweek and lost to one of the top teams last weekend! A slight overreaction but agree to some extent. Adeyemi has never been the answer in the middle of the park unfortunately! We need a Darren Sheridan in there, I dont care if they can play football. if they can get stuck in and pass it 2 yards thats good enough for me. Personally I think we have seen some of the nest from Taylor in the middle this season, he is more involved an less likely to run down a blind alley, we just need the scrapper in the to back him up. Tom is far too leightweight for the role
8. I'm a season ticket holder and think that this is great and a real gesture to get a good number of fans in through the door. I don't want compensating and i have been fully welcoming of all previous deals and incetives. There is a real risk though of beginning to alienate the core support. I will be getting a ST next season but not necessarily thinking twice about going it has made me ponder a little. Currently I have a season ticket and work other arrangements around that. The real danger is that I might in the future be tempted to switch that. I feel that was is needed is a real grand gesture that truly does affect ALL Oldham supporters and that can only be done in the form of season tickets at £150 or similar for a season. As had been said before that simply isn't feasable. Catch 22!
9. I think that it is a portrait in a person trying to make jokes of things all the time
10. Hmm, I dont think the neighbours would be too happy about this! Whilst I think it would be great I feel that we are too close to residential housing for this to be feasable unlike the Reebok for example. I'd be happy to watch Noel or madness there though!
11.

Too much is made of this fan thing, there is a difference between passion and simply being a gob:censored:e
12.

Would you leave a game at half time if we were a goal behind????? We had loads of chances tonight, Chesterfield flung bodies in the way of everything. Early doors we made them look amazing but we did enough to win it. On another night the pen is tucked away and one of the many other chances is slotted. The good thing is we have the opportunity to put it right at Boundary Park but the excuse has already been presented to the fans which cant be arsed. I honestly don't think that they want us to get better players and go up as that means having to find more excuses to get our opf their Saturday routines. I wouldn't preach to people who choose to spend their hard earned as they wish, it is a free world and it is their perogative. What does stick however is the ease in which they find reason not to come.
13. That was the worst outcome of a penalty I've ever seen. Kuqi is currently making the US army look accurate with his shooting and that absolute tube taylor getting a booking, amazing! He makes me cringe every time he starts remonstrating with the officials and I am honestly embarrased to be a latics fan.
14. When I first saw Robinson as a number 2 to Ince he was a complete pleb. When we did them here earlier in the season he was as good as any other. Acknowledged any mistakes made by the ref and has been mentioned did something he didn't have to with Ruubes thus went up in my estimation. Clark for me, unable to make a decision without being able to run it by Terry Mc and 20 others beforehand! Stevenage were a terrible team when they came but I have gradually been changing my opoinion as they are clearly very effective and acheiving results which it is all about. If they tried playing football they would be stuffed. Megson played the game when he was here and not as irritating as made out, I thought he was good value for money with his banter in taking and dishing out in equal measures. Allen is just not right in the head is he
15. There were some particularly nasty knuckle draggers at the Scunthorpe away game in the league. The missus came with me to that match (her second Oldham game in 8 years) and was dumfounded as to how neanderthal some 'fans' could be. They were on his back from the moment the whistle went! Like has been said, he was by far our best performer but fans need to show a lot of patience for his return. Welcome back Reuben!
16. Oh yes, Hughes - the epitomy of humanity. Spare the bull:censored: Diego
17. I presume Turkey should never have the Euros then seeing as it is bang next door to Asia?
18. Mass Hysteria just like all the twunts purchasing anything they can in Morrisons because it is closed for 1 chuffing day!
19. You are correct there Frankly Mr Shankly in saying that there are no passengers. The team spirit has been noticed but unlike a few previous seasons we don't appear to be carrying anybody within this side which is the basis for success. I said it last season and it will be the same next season. We need to retain as many of these players as possible and strengthen when needed. We lost dale stephens to Charlton for a fee and bring in Wes for nowt, we lost Evra too but have brought in Diallo. We haven't been weakened by any changes in personnel and if we can tie the players whose contracts are up we wouldn't need to do too much in the close season to improve again
