  1. Put me down for a seat also please Beardy!
  2. haha I was waiting for you to reply! Your probably right, but two of those small Heineken cans instead!
  3. Excellent I'll get the beer in now then! I'll see you all tomorrow.
  4. Just making sure I'm actually on the bus tomorrow, can't see my name on the list!
  5. Marc Richards of Barnsley I think, got a few goals at this level a couple of seasons ago.
  6. I think it's a good move myself. He wasn't really impressed me at all when I've seen him play this season. I think signing Ricketts has been Sheridan's biggest mistake to dateand I think he is realising it himself. The length of contract we signed him on was far too long for a striker who hasn't been firing for years. Woflenden is a better target man!
  7. The atmosphere definately seems to have gone from BP. I've only been to the Bristol Rovers game so far this season and it was just dead. Even the lookers paddock at the end there was nothing at all, just felt surreal.
  8. Not a chance it's 2-1 to Clyde, another own goal, Gregan this time!
  9. We sound like we're playing some decent stuff and creating chances, Davies is looking very likely and dangerous. The defence sound like they're having a right mare at the moment, making lots of mistakes and getting beaten to challenges and headers.
  10. We're a goal down, don't know who scored though.
  11. Any news on the game so far? Are we playing well?
  12. Quality left back. Hope his legs can hold up better than Charlton's if he does sign.
  13. He would be a great signing, definately got a mouth on him which will do the team more good than worse. Don't see it as a bad thing so long as he can control it. Rocastle found it very hard last season to do that. If he signed I'd see the midfield being Taylor Kilkenny Kalala Liddell would there be enough experience?
  14. I'm not sure about Crossley yet, decent keeper yes but I doubt he'll go through a full season fit. If he doiesn't turn out to be quite as good then we have a more than able deputy in Pogs.
  15. Pretty much agree with this, I think the midfield at the moment is weaker, need someone creative in the middle. We've got a stronger squad now than last season and Shez worked wonders with them, with his own players in now I'm sure he can mould the team into a more successful group.
  16. I'd say Hughes will be top goalscorer this season but I'm not expecting huge amounts from anyone. I think we'll be lucky if one player gets 15+. Our strikeforce despite the big names are a huge gamble. I think they'll do a good job but whether we've got a 20 goal a season player at the moment I'm not so sure. So long as the goals come from throughout the team I think we'll be fine.
  17. I'm really unsure about this signing. Was a great keeper a few years ago but unsure he'll be good enough now. The jury is out for me.
  18. Whose contracts are up at the end of this season anyways? For me I'd like to see Blayney and Edwards released, maybe even Wood. Don't really wanna go on about it much except to say thanks to shez and the lads for a great season, we have done better than my wildest expectations at the start of the season. Hopefully with t3a's backing Shez can bring in a better squad next season and I'm sure we'll do a better job next season.
  19. I think it might be time to drop Warne, so long as Porter is fit then I think next game we should start with Glombard and Porter upfront. He's not scored since Millwall in mid feb. For any other striker to have ever played for us the fans would be calling for his head. It's not like he's not had the chances to score. Can't fault him for effort and passion but he needs to be scoring more often.
  20. I think I'd have to go for Warney too, he's been there all season and he's never given up fighting for the cause. The Brentford example is just typical of him. If Gregan had been here longer though it would be him by a country mile, he just oozes class!
  21. I'm for video technology but only for goal line decisions. I agree if you use technology too much that it would slow the game down but football is all about goals. If the referee doesn't give a free-kick when to everyone else it should have been is only a matter of opinion and how someone interprets the laws of the game, the ball crossing the line can be proved, no opinion about it. Surely if you've put the ball behind the line you deserve the goal. As for it killing banter there would still be plenty to talk about.
  22. Eddy never wanted the ball. Always stayed in wrong positions and never went searching for the ball. He really let us down today apart from his tackling. Too many players just not playing and when earlier in the season we could score from anywhere we're getting too predictable. Either lump it to Porter or out wide to Liddell who doesn't put in a good enough ball. This result was worse than Millwall, Millwall made it difficult for us and not let us play, Bournemouth let us play and we still couldn't beat them.
  23. I dunno I think it was Porters goal. The ball was going into the net anyways. Surely if that was an own goal then the one Poggi fumbled a couple of weeks back was also an own goal?
