  1. I've never suffered de-ja-vu moments either. As has been said, although i'm fine at the moment, i can talk about it and i can be totally open - my biggest fear is that depression will return. Theres a massive difference between depression and generally being down but sometimes, a simple bad day at work where anyone would come home and feel down leaves my mind running.....am i down? or is this the start of another episode? I've had two fairly major ones and I don't want a 3rd so I have to sit and say to myself that everyone is allowed a bad day and it doesn't mean tommorow will be as bad. I guess once you've had depression, it's always with you.
  2. i've not seen anything - tried a quick google...nothing new as far as i can see
  3. might have a car space for somoeone for a split of petrol
  4. You only have to look here - already 3 people have admitted they've suffered or are suffering, which, when you consider the relativly small pot of people which post on here shows the scale of the problem. it's so much more common than the vast majority think
  5. Having been through depression and fighting it for months on my own thinking it was my fault i was miserable, and i could work my way out of it...best thing i ever did was to seek help. People seem to be ashamed to say they need counselling, and there is still a stigma attatched to all mental illnesses but a few months of sessions changed my entire life. It sorted not only the problems i had at the time, but lots of things i didn't realise were there but could have caused problems in the future. Fortunatly, it never got to a point with me where I felt taking my life was the best option but I can understand how it could easily get to that point for some people. Thoughts with the family - RIP Gary
  6. With recalls they should go for as long as the club can get.... Definatly Millar Brooke DJ Bembo Possibly Tarky Winchester
  7. definatly gotta be the aim to get all three out - especially brooke and millar they're miles off the first team at the moment YOu could argue winchester would benefit from a month in league 2
  8. At the end of the day, even if hudds are offered money and accept - what is to stop simpson turning down the move? He knows he can move to oldham for free in the summer if he's that keen on us (which it seems he is) it's better financially for hudds just to let him go in jan and save 6 months of wages.
  9. nobody has said drop him - the only person who mentioned anything like resting him was me.......... If you look at my post (page 1) it doesn't say drop him for a game to rest his legs. i was just saying that when your 3/4/5-1 like we have been against both burton and chesterfield, why not take him off for 25-30 mins. Ok, Simpson was ill on saturday so i understand this, but with the sheer amount of games coming up, it would be daft not to give smith (or whoever) more time on the pitch and rest our aging strikers legs if we're coasting to victory.
  10. i went mvoto - thought he was outstanding yesterday - won everything in the air and a couple of his tackles/blocks were goal saving....brilliant
  11. thought he had a half decent game....lot of players played better. Every team has decided to attack us down the left side, its definatly where we are weakest
  12. i think he was frustrated - the couple of times he got near the goal first half, allot hacked him down and i seem to remember him being flagged tight offside a couple of times. I like to see it....perhaps he's not happy we keep going 3-0 up and switching off? He's definatly got passion....even after his goal he looked like someone had run over his dog! One thing i worry about shefki is that he gives 110% every game....and as we head towards the busiest time of the season i worry about the legs - i know he's fit but i still worry. There has been a couple of games where he perhaps could have come off (i know he hates coming off) with 30 mins to go as we've been 3-0 and 5-1 up - perfect time to A) Rest his legs B ) Give Smith a more substantial run out = he keeps getting in good positions which tells me he can score goals, but i think he's snatching at chances because he knows he might only get one chance per game. Lets try and build his confidence in games when we can!
  13. this is not me moaning - its been a great day and for 90% of the game we had 11 outstanding players... we're not always going to be able to win 3-1 or 5-2 so some effort has to be put in on the defence....in some games, say charlton, sheff utd, hudds we're not going to get as many chances and its not going to be as easy to score so if we do bag, we need to have more confidence that potentially 1 can be enough to win the game. Although Mvoto had his best game since last year, and diamond did well - we still conceded a free header, conceded a fairly simple 2nd and they missed a couple of other chances - will the big boys squander those chances? Teams definatly look to attack our left back. For the first time since we had eyeres and liddle supplying chance after chance, we look good going forward, if we could sure up at the back a touch, there is no reason we can't finish in a play-off spot. well played today each and every player
  14. Grand Theft Auto Star Niko Bellic Oldham Athletic Star - Shefki Kuqi
  15. how can any club turn down a manager who comes with a striker bundled in?
  16. He was poor....one thing I noticed on the telly is that the ball was taken slightly away from the goal and Clark got back behind cisak.....so was cisak last man"
  17. I'd have thought it was because we are at home next saturday....we'll have ome them
  18. i'm not getting involved in the stewards thing...but....and this is each to their own so i'm not criticising you here but.... surley if you go to an away game, why spend 5-10 mins of the game stood downstairs with a beer!!
  19. whose the guy in the main stand lower whose only has the ability to shout "get in there" whenever someone misses a tackle? funniest moments tend to be whenever pukka from on here pipes up!
  20. He's been hit and miss in terms of appearances this year, so its of no suprise that he cramped a little...not played too many 90 minutes this season and it does take a while to build up... Good thing his, although he wasn't at his best going forward, he worked harder than i've seen him before off the ball, looked keen - so he should soon be back to fitness with that work ethic
  21. didn't get one what fecks me off is that they're already popping up on seatwave from those who never had any intention to go
  22. Nice to see some mention of parker on there.....half forgot about him there has been such little info. Really started to take to his style at scunthorpe - be good to have him back
