Agreed.... Watch him and him alone...he makes good space for himself, a couple of times today he was in between defenders but we don't have the quality to get the ball in the right places. He did well today, put himself about, won a few headers but the rest of the donkeys couldn't read 'Spot goes to Town' never mind reading where a flick on could go. In a decent team where he got chances, perhaps he'd take a few rather than snatching at opportunities knowing it may be his only one until the next ten minute run out....time for him to get 5 or 6 starts and prove his worth one way or another...l

My Missus works at one of the companies involved....although not directly With us she knows the people responsible..I've been asked to provide some feedback so I've given too expensive, often not enough and run out before the HT rush and the kid serving me once used a calculator to work out the price of two cups of tea....

Dave Penney was the ultimate low....I'm not saying I'd ever want the guy back and I was one who wasn't going to buy a st with him in charge. I was simply making a point that those who say PD being sucessful is keeping us in the league didn't think that was the case under Penney. I dont want automatic promotion....I want steady progression. Proof we as a team and PD as a manager are improving. At the moment, I see the same things happening far to often.

Don't people say that Dickov keeping us in this league is a success??? Dave Penney did that....Ronnie Moore did that, and they were sacked. Im still behind dickov for the moment but it would be interesting to compare his record to both moore and Penney. We complained at lack of goals under Penney......is it any better now? I'd guess not much difference. We've seen glimpses to show us that dickov can get us playing nice football.....but we see far more glimpses of poor defending, unfit players and new signings (smith etc) not getting a run due to endless (and usually pointless) loans. Our lack of ability to finish teams off and go from decent to garbage in the 15 min ht interval is the most worrying thing. For me....taggert is the man who doesn't bring enough...we'd be MUCH better off with a seasoned assistant. Dickov, no P45 but a serious talking to is in order....

Its a while back - it was Alan Hardy if i remember correctly and to be honest, i've never asked since... I'm no expert - I work in IT and Enterprise Software Support but used to be a web developer so have some knowledge of the systems in place so I thought, when we first had nobody doing this full time, i'd offer some time. It was basically a case of we don't need anyone to do it and we've got it all covered. I've moved jobs since then otherwise i'd have posted the full mail

I just came on to say exacly that.....awful amateur stuff....it's seriously embarassing at the moment. I'd rather NOT have a website! I've offered services a while back....either web based or even just updating the site with text - for free.....and was turned down. Seems they maybe should have taken me up on my offer...

new design is starting to take shape - as an ex developer, i have to say it looks p155 poor.....i'll hold off untill its completed....but it lookes like something knocked up in 5 minutes on a wizard site like wordpress!

saw him warming up at mossley pre-season last year so wasn't too far away and he seemed to have bulked up a touch. Was expecting a few more appearances this year to be honest. I think he's got something.....at the end of the day, 15/16 apearances (mostly as sub) isn't enough for him to settle properly. Its the issue we've seen with brooke, bemobo, and multiple others.....as 17/18 year olds, we can't seem to get them out on loan to half decent sides to get games under there belts

where did all this "lee was rubbish for 18 months" guff come from? Lee barely got a chance for 18 months....there is a difference

with joey barton, there has to come a point where somebody says enough is enough, your past record shows this this and this and you now have a suspended x game ban hanging over you if you do anything stupid again

never really let the side down - sort of CB who you can't really do wrong with....if we went into next season with M'voto / Clarke / Reece Brown and Tarky (who'll hopefully learn from last season's mistakes) it's actually not the worst set of center halves is it? Plus.....you get clarke, its another reason for Simpson to stay.....

yep - i'd have him back.........without thinking about it....whats gone on is all in the past....if he said he wanted to play 12 months here, i'd be more than happy

would prefer him to be our defensive coach over taggert any day....really don't see what taggert brings

it'll be part time, but you can guarantee he won't have to work too hard a job on the days they don't train to make ends meet...

no...after what he did to iain hulme, the guy should have been banned for life nothing wrong with being aggressive and fair (Greganesque) but that man is a vile character

I can't recall either having a decent run in the side.....its been our downfall. In some positions we'll shove square pegs in round holes, yet up front, we stick to the same tired old regime week after week...

Funnily enough, he played in the position he was signed to play in that game and then never got another sniff.... Same as Simpson...funnily enough he played much better in his ideal position...even scored a hat-trick you know Its the one issue which has really led me to doubt dickovs ability as a manager. If he knows anything he should know a striker...and sticking with Kuqi so long when we did have simpson, parker and even smith (who deserved a GOOD run in the side to show what he can do) was not good management. I just fear he's sometimes too stubborn for his own good and its the old square pegs round holes thing when there are round pegs available I personally, would definatly liked to have to seen more of Parker

I have zero faith in our defensive coaching....so maybe he is listening

hoping brown will be back next season, him and m'voto, furman and hopefully wes and its not a bad central group...
