    I am sure Wrexham fans would disagree with your opinion. Owners seem to be doing plenty in the community. I am sure Southend fans would welcome any investment. Plus plenty of other clubs-Fleetwood perhaps? I bet 18 months ago you would have welcomed any prospect of investment in our club from anybody.

    I really don't get comments like this. He is only doing what is best for himself and family-just like you, me and everybody else would do. Only in very rare cases do players have some 'connection' with a club and want to play for that club for other than financial reasons be it length of contract or £sd.

    I think you will know that our clubs player of the season this year does not equate with many other clubs POTS. Next year however.

    Anybody who scores against The Filth is/was quite good. If Hughes hadn't done the volley he would have been a hero. Never let us down anyway. He also briefly dated Danny Behr. Quite good.
