  1. It must be extremely infuriating for BP though, he's banged this drum for a while, he's made the club aware of him, and now it seems Dan Gardner is making the strides BP expected of him, he has the limelight of the FA Cup as well, and low and behold, someone will pick him up and he'll go on and fulfill his potential elsewhere.
  2. No there were no words of wisdom this week unfortunately. And i'd never noticed the right boob being bigger before, now I need to go and research other pictures of her and see why i'd never noticed this. Back in 2.
  3. I read it as his win ratio from when he played for them, could be worng though and I agree bragging about 4/14 aint to clever.
  4. You my friend are a moron, my mothers side of the family originate from Barrow and I don't appreciate your negative comments to the place.
  5. True, I just feel total unease with him, he seems to need a right good rocket, he spends most of his time and effort pouting. If GK's were judged on pouting, i'd have him as England's no 1 at the WC. Having said that, WHAT A SAVE he made against Carlisle when Miller nearly equalised, I stood and applauded that, he has some talents, but it can't be denied that he's pushed a fair few limp wristers back out into the danger area this season.
  6. We don't half overthink tactics and formations, you can play 442 quite easily, seen as its all kids are brought up with, it should be second nature to them. I think most people now agreee David from Emmerdale (Oxley), who has never been seen in the same room as David (just a thought) SHOULD BE DROPPED, AND SENT BACK TO YORKSHIRE to either play for his Yorkshire team or go and 'act' on Emmers. FACT!!!!!!!!
  7. Really, ball comes across, GK's job is to keep hold of the ball, he pushes it straight to the one player who can score against us, just like he did at Rotherham etc. Very poor.
  8. I don't really rate Philliskirk, i've seen him a few times and I don't get it... I would say our attacking threat would arrive down the wings, firstly and mainly in fact through Mills, then through Dayton (he'd need instructing of course to get down the bloody wing), get a load of balls in the box and have two poachers in Rooney and Charlie who will put chances from 6 yards away more often than not, then if the opposition nulify that threat, Grounds and Lanzoni should be offering the overlap, this gives us another dimension, and as we'd be attacking in numbers the reassurance of Smith and Wes tracking back, would enable us to have sufficient temporary cover on the counter. When I watched Smith last season when he first came in on loan, I thought he was quality, and he looked to get forward at every opportunity, everyone was delighted with what they saw, now Johnson has turned him into Furman. Take the shackles from him and he'd be the attacking midfielder we crave.
  9. That's fantastic, cheers for that. The more I think about it, the more I want to be in a group with a Colombia or Uruguay, will make it much more interesting. And let's see how Cahill and Jagielka (Who's partnership is blossoming) get on against Falcao or Cavani. They play Suarez enough in the prem, who is arguably the same as the afore mentioned two, whey couldn't they perfom again them also, would silence a few of the critics, anyway as long as we don't re-call John Poison Terry i'll be happy...
  10. i'm glad you're not the manager, county primary school stuff that. Rachubka (Oxley is garbage, he's too busy learning his lines as David in Emmerdale, although at least he's getting to bang Alesha) Lanzoni Kasunga Tarky Grounds Dayton Smith Wes Mills Rooney MacDonald
  11. Mate the police and the stewards from G4S??? were complete wankers all day, it resembled Belfast when we left the Bridge inn to get the train, I recognise some of the numpties when i'm at games, and I reckon any Oldham "mob" was no more than 10 in number, no need for the police to have such a presence, still anything to control us eh and all football fans are scum. Luckily we arrived in Rovrum early early doors so avoided being kettled.
  12. Fair enough, when I get chance i'll have a look IF those South American winners did indeed lose at all on their way to winning, and in that time did they lose to a European side because that's more relevant to my point than who won it, I was saying we can beat a South American team any day of the week and that we shouldn't be scared of playing them, I didn't say we'd win the tournament in South America.
  13. Fair enough, I do see the point there. Can't wait for the groups to be drawn, so we can dream/moan/predict every scenario, love a WC me.
  14. Always makes me chuckle this. How the devil are Argentina and Uruguay "Practically" at home? A quick google search tells me that Montevideo to Rio De Janeiro is 1,474 miles, in terms of Europe, that's similar to England playing in Ukraine. Similarly, Buenos Aries is 1,656 miles from Rio, that's like England playing in Bulgaria. If a WC was in Bulgaria or Ukraine would the South American's be saying.... "We'll struggle against any European side there." Or would we hear "and England and France are practically at home as well as Ukraine"
  15. I think he's saying the systems that daft that after two wins you jump a stupid amount of places and likewise if you lose a couple. Its a WC your gonna play tough teams, thats part of the fun of watching it, we drew Trinidad and Tobago in 06 and very nearly drew, we did in fact draw with Algeria in 2010. People were buzzing at drawing those teams, we were totally unconvincing. 2002 we drew Argentina, oh :censored: everyone thought, we won 1-0 and were class.
  16. You look at the World Rankings and you see Uruguay in the top 8, I wouldn't be scared of playing them. Likewise, in 2002 we weren't seeded, the Argies were, we beat them and both us and Sweden went through. I don't really care for the seeds, again if you look at 2012, we had such a tough group in France, Sweden and Ukraine it's hard to say who were the seeds, and guess what we won the group. It didn't really help us. I'm looking forward to drawing the Argies or Colombia or Belgium as the seeds and then Burkina Faso and Honduras.
  17. I just put the little man on streetview on Google Maps to look at these pubs as I aint been Brentford for donkeys so couldn't reall remember them, and when I got to the Princess Royal, it has a board up above the pub and it says next fixture Oldham Athletic, it's a sign...
  18. Been on all season. I miss "Bullet in the Gun" which we used to come out to round the Millennium, it used to get me proper fired up. There's a bullet in the gun, there's a fire in us heart you can move all mountains that satnd in your path. Till the end of all time i'll be by yourside it was like words that could resonate with the players too, standing side by side in battle.
  19. I'll probs do the same things I would on a normal away day but without the footy. I hope the missus doesn't mind cleaning my soiled undies again.
  20. Good to see you back bro. I for one really enjoy your reports etc. I know I know its a bit but i do.
  21. Great result, Schmeltz loves a slice doesn't he, but top finish from Wes.
  22. I think he either reads this message board and realised I know what i'm talking about or the penny finally droppe accidentally, either way its a poitive sign seeing the line up evolve into one that is more suitable to the players/system we have.
  23. Been asking for "Rachy Chubs" to replace Oxley for weeks, not convinced by Oxley at all, he'd look more at home in Emmerdale, in fact doesn't he play the part of David in Emmerdale? Come to think of it have you ever seen Mark Oxley and David from Emmerdale in the same room? Anyway Mills to Left Wing against Orient was another thing i'd been banging on about for weeks, and also moving Grounds back to his natural position of Left Back. And to top the puzzle off, putting two Centre halves in at yes, you guessed it Centre Half. This team is the one I asked for a couple of weeks back. Posted 25 September 2013 - 08:29 AM Rachubka Lanzoni Tarkowski Kasunga Grounds Dayton Wesolowski Smith Mills Rooney MacDonald And it seems we are finally getting there, maybe Philly for Rooney, but thats up for debate.
