    Agreed. I have to add Kuqi's penalty in front of us at Bramall Lane. 2 down and dead and buried at half time, I almost went to the pub. 2-3.

    Mardon was good. Another Ritchie loanee to have a good short term impact was Paul Beavers. Earlier in the darker days of the 1990s, Simon Webster was a centre half loanee I liked. Under Neil Warnock, I thought the early performances of Matthew Rush were brilliant. 165 grand dished out as we tried in vain to stay in the second tier. We spent good money in those last few months at that level on him, Duxbury and perhaps others I forget about now. Too late, unfortunately.

    Agreed. Well done Simon and anyone else involved in the response. Takes me back many years to being a young fan and feeling fantastic when staff or players at the club went out of their way to make your day/week/year/lifetime up to that point.
