me 2. Not enough bodies in the box and not enough movement and we don't cross the ball early enough. Winchester for all his plaudits this season never tries to get the ball in probably because he knows we don't have the bodies in the box. Against Gillingham Dayton put in 3 great crosses but no one attacked them. We don't really have an out and out forward me. Forte and Poleon always try to much in the box neither just takes a touch and shot away or belts one first time. But its nice to be talking about how solid we are and if we can find another 10% this team could do something.

We often don't have enough bodies in the box to cause problems. Dayton put in 3 great crosses against Gillingham but no one got on the end of em. One went all the way to the back post but Winchester was to deep to attack it. If he had been in the box its One nill latics and this happens a lot (not Winchesters fault all the time) Our movement in the box from open play is pretty awful no one ever runs across the near post.... but we are starting to turn a corner I think. All of a sudden we are compact and difficult to breakdown and if we can just start finding the net we are going to rack up wins

WInchester would be useful in the middle as he clearly doesn't want to be on the wing but the 2 center mids were fine today. Jones tried to drive us on and Kelly played some neat passes WE lack composure in and around the box but we look solid enough Poor subs today - 2 young lads werent what was required - id like LJ to explain that one it nearly worked i guess with Turners little flick past the post but im not sue hes ready yet

Hes even got the fans saying it was a dodgy pen - if that isn't a penalty i don't know what is. Player is possession in the box. Trailing leg clipped - Penalty- all day everyday

Good first half but we need to get our chances on target Danny P does well to intercepet but shoots miles wide when well played, Kelly and Forte also guilty Deference did well. Mills improved after a poor start. His passing was dire for 10-15 minutes. Hes just struggling for form at the minute but i think hes improving Midfield - Forte pace vital for us hes an outlet for us all the time. Kelly improving more work rate and much better at closing the ball down. Winchester - something has clicked. All of a sudden hes more aggressive closes down quicker tries to move the ball quicker - doesn't always come off but hes starting to look a player. Hes never been consistent but maybe now hes finding it. Faded a bit 2nd half untill the last 10 minutes when he came into it and helped keeper Fleetwood pegged back. B.Wilson - solid and energetic Danny P was a good but hes so slow to set himself for a shot - today we got lucky as they dived in and gave us a pen... If we get an out and out striker/target man not sure there is room for him... Cause hes no winger Poleon - early days not as impressed as others but he does have pace and did well to create get the ball in that led to the goal. More to come when fit i think The team as a whole worked really hard to today = no passengers and that's great to see. Fleetwood were OK going forward but weak at the back not sure why they persisted with the short goal kicks to the center backs as they didn't have the ability to distribute well

Only seen the one game but off that you guys got far and away the better of the deal. Bar one Hollywood ball I didn't think much of Kelly, lots of 5 yard and side ways passes. Not strong enough and work rate wasn't great George looks ok. Strong doesn't really dominate in the air though

I liked the black kit from a few season back thought that was smart the torex burgundy was nice as well the navy and orange wasnt bad either

Horrible kit cant think of too many we have had that are worse to be honest - looks like a sunday pub team kit The kit does look cheap - lets be honest it was never going to be anything other than that I suppose the colour of it matches the trend for bright coloured boots these days - maybe the young kids will like it and the nag factor will push up sales Still it doesn't matter what we play in as long as we win but I wont be buying one

biggest problem with having a unit in the spindles is the stupidly high rent even for a small unit

Another vote for wilson as MOM.. was excellent to be honest we played well as a team today but WIlson stood out for me made some important tackles and won a lot in the air, unlucky with the header from the corner as well

Sods law. But for us he looked like he didn't have much in the way of match fitness and he looked slow even tho he was trying to run the channels and go past people. I think injuries and age might have caught up with him. Watch him get a hat trick now

All 3 will be gone at the end of the season... Winchester has produced the odd moment of quality and done ok at times but never consistently same with Mellor and Millar after a bright finish last season has done nothing when handed a few chances this season They have had numerous chances under numerous managers and have never been able to hold down a regular spot - its time to move on yes they don't cost much but are they giving us much back. Mellor has been poor at LB this season and got sent off in a key game at centre mid. time to move on - I would love them to have come good. improve the team and give us a saleable asset instead of loan after loan but its not happend

Depends on the cost of it really... Was a big fan of Johnson early on in the season when we were doing exactly what he said we were going to play passing football and try to attack... we didn't turn some good performances into wins and now we are struggling after having our best players let go and to often far to cheaply...its become tiresome. By all means be a selling club if that what it takes but at least get value from the sold players not take the first offer.. Now we are left with cast offs who simply aren't good enough. A crocked winger. 1 experienced forward and some inexperienced kids. One on loan player who can produce some quality. An on load keeper who is capable of some superb saves but usually gives a clear goal scoring opportunity away most matches. Some kids who have never proved they are good enough on a consistent basis and a manager who has talked the talk but like Dickov cant get a team to produce. If we go down I will strongly consider weather I renew next season. Il still come to a few games. but the lack of atmosphere, the product on the pitch is the same every season. Start bright then fade away to yet another relegation battle. We couldn't even hold out against Crewe! Feeling really fed up with latics at the moment

Thought Brown was decent tho his positing can be a bit off but at least he tries to go forward even tho he doesn't have ability with ball at his feet. Mellor I thought was awful. Made to look worse because he was up against a speedster with no help but the lack of effort to close down the first goal was woeful. It was almost like he thought their lad had no chance of bringing it down. These days your full backs have to act as auxilary wingers and ours aren't preparers or don't have the ability to support the attack and pin teams back

Rooney wouldn't be the answer he needs chances creating and he doesn't offer anything else if that doesn't happen. We need to stay up and rethink the team for next season.

Barely heard anything from the chadddy. Danny and Charlie Mac don't work as a strike pair. Jch did well when we he came on. Was it a pen? Too fast for me to see. No body wants to attack. Brown was our outlet first half and that says everything we get 25 yards from goal and go backwards. No pace through the team and not enough energy first half. Preston were decent and Humphreys went past Mellor every time he wanted not good enough again. Starting to worry about the r word now

Has to be away fans in the chaddy. Every game u can hear noise in the Rocky road even if the away fans have come in a taxi. The only time you hear any chants from the chaddy is when some one says it was a good volumeafter the game. We have stuck with tradition and the atmosphere at BP awful let's at least try something to improve it

Fairly certain that this year will finally see the end of a lot of younger latics players that haven't made it over the years Mellor, Millar ,Winchester will all be let go I think. I don't think Dunfield will be kept on (not sure why he signed to be honest). Oxley will return to Hull. Worrall may go back to Rotherham or pastures new, I think we may get small free for Korey Smith. Charlie Mac might be let go due to injuries same reason I think Kusunga will leave. Harkins I would love to stay but will probably go back to an SPL side. What are his ties to Scotland? Lockwood, Grounds, Wilson, Wes Danny P, JCH,Brown will all stay I think so it begins again...getting tired of it I must admit...at the start of the season there looked to be something about us but that 1st half against MK has really gotten me thinking we are turning into a Dickov team yet again...

Starting 11 too many changes not Winchester biggest fan but he did ok Saturday and should have started. Danny P is not a winger where was Worrall? Dunfield ok tried to play to feet at least but no great improvement on what we had. Stead woeful think hew past it some good touches but looks slow ans doent win enough in the air. Plays like he's 34 not 30.

in fairess posh couldnt defend set pieces that day and 1 came from a penalty we had about 3 efforts on goal from open play today and our strikers just dont look convincing.

massive win awful game we just dont create enough Harkins was only player to look like doing anything going forwards. Oxly motm by a mile. Lockwood and Wilson did oK but gillingham still had too many chances we didnt create anything to kill them off. Still a wins a win get something Tuesday and we will be chuggling along nicely
