Pete Wild seems like a really well grounded likeable guy, and has been so impressive in the media these last few days. I just don’t think this is his time, but certainly he’s one the club should be looking to prepare for the managers job down the line though. From the outside, it looks like he has a fairly stable role within the acedemy (and look how many years TP got out of that role) it may not be the best move for him to risk just a potential 6 months in the top job, only to find himself out of work with a young family at the end of the season. Again I may be well wide of the mark, but I would image the team has been run almost by committee by coaches and senior players this last few weeks with Wild at the top of the tree, maybe there’s a way to continue along these lines with someone coming in with a Director of Football role.

Can’t Blitz just speak to AL about all this over the phone rather than turning up to games home and away?

If what your saying here is that Blitz has been the one keeping us ticking over during the Corney reign then I’d probably have to say he’s a hell of a guy! Not many people would be throwing money at a loss making business they they have no interest in. Unless there’s things that we are in the dark about with our previous and perhaps current ownership... which I’m sure there is.

He was at a home game a few weeks ago also, I’ve been told he’s not interested in getting involved again though. But that could change I suppose if he gets fired up again after days like Sunday!

Drove there a few years ago, there’s plenty of parking on the surrounding industrial estate for about £4 - £5. Might be a bit different if there’s a bigger crowd there of course

I would argue it’s absolutely about the money for clubs like us as we are not going to win it.... well the money and a great day out for the fans, which in this case it just isn’t sadly.

I have no interest in this game at all, what an absolute shocker. One of the grounds I hate the most, it’s just a soulless bowl, this is the complete opposite of what Fulham was. Gutted.

I don’t believe I’ve seen a worse professional league side than County, absolutely dreadful. God knows how the bookies had that squad as favourites for promotion.

Hope I’m proved massively wrong, but I reckon quite a few season ticket holders will have bought tickets for non season tickets holders, so open sale might not go as well as you think. Whatever happens though 3500 to London on a Sunday afternoon for a game we’ll most likely lose is unbelievable support.

Their normal price for adults is in the range of £30 to £65 for a league game, so they may well get a few turning out for a cheap deal like this
