  1. Obviously a 6-0 scoreline will get people upset, with good reason, but it was never a 6-0 kind of game today. Expected Goals has it as a 2-1, which seems about right.
  2. Seems like a bit of an arsehole with it though, don't think he'd fit in with the spirit of the current team.
  3. Yes, the way that page works must be out-of-date, or just plain wrong, or they're technically suspended then subsequently "let off" because it's after the cut-off or whatever... If you click "One caution away" and scroll down, it tells you different suspension criteria to the one linked to, I think it's how it worked last season? Either way, that has the cut-off listed as November 30th, which has also passed! And lastly, Missilou got his 5th league yellow against Lincoln, then was free to play the next game, because it was after the 19-game point. The whole system needs clarification though, too much confusion among fans.
  4. Peter Clarke is not suspended on Saturday. The cut-off point for 5 yellow cards was changed this season, it is now after 19 league games. (Source: http://www.thefa.com/-/media/files/thefaportal/governance-docs/player-essentials/2018-19/essential-information-for-players-2018-19---english.ashx) Cup yellows also now only count towards the competition they are given in. We have a few players who if booked against Fulham, would miss a Round 4 game or replay.
  5. It will be, it's just what they do. They're promoting our game as a cheap family day out too, that area will be full of kiddies.
  6. As a young boy, I thought "Joe Royle's bluenwhitearmy!" was "Joe Royle's boys are it!" for some reason.
  7. Yes. Will become our youngest ever player if he gets on, aged 15 years, 6 months, 16 days! He couldn't travel with the rest of the team yesterday, he had to come down after he did his Maths Mock GCSE at school!
  8. I expect it's being broadcast internationally, so keep your eyes out on Saturday. BBC2, Sunday 6pm
  9. Yes, it's all a bit silly. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/max-power-missing-tonight-yet-15111827
  10. It isn't true red cards don't get you suspended for the FA Cup. It's suspensions for yellows that are only handed out for the competition they're picked up in now. This has been brought in to stop players getting a fifth yellow on purpose so they miss a cup match instead of a league game. Miller will be suspended until 3 first team games have passed. So he'll miss Maidstone, Rochdale (Can't play, but Checkatrade doesn't count as a first team game), Crewe, and Bury (Or Maidstone at home if there's a replay)
  11. He'll miss Tuesday's game against Eastleigh. Unrelated, but they've got a really young squad I've noticed.
  12. Apparently not. I imagine if there's enough interest they'll release it as next season's away kit. We'll have to wear it at Colchester too, possibly Bury.
  13. Playing in this bit of smartness tomorrow!
  14. Bunn has been saying we need more goals from our centre backs with the chances they've been getting. Look how much effort Edmundson put in to winning that header! Good lad. Good man management.
  15. FA Cup rules state you have to offer a minimum of 15% of your capacity to the away fans, Gallagher Stadium holds 4200, so it will be at least 630.
  16. For the first two rounds, yes. They show two per round afterwards.
  17. Averages a very decent booking every other game though. Hope a Latics fan chimes up with "I still think Cassidy will come good eventually." at the match. One of those who it felt like played 20 too many games for us. He only played in 10.
  18. £54,000 more if we beat Maidstone, who aren't pulling any trees up in the league below us. TV fee would be around £85,000 I think.
  19. Yes bud, 10.30am tomorrow on BT, or 5.30pm on BBC, when they'll have all Saturday and Sunday's action. They'll also show a few highlights from today on the Final Score Live thing they do on Sunday afternoon. ?
  20. It's mandatory from Round 5 onwards, but teams can apply not to before that. Apparently Sunderland always play theirs away from Stadium Of Light.
  21. Technically, since the introduction of B teams, so is the Checkatrade. Which is why suspensions from it don't carry over to first team games etc.
  22. Suggests 3000 capacity for the game, so they've given us the mandatory minimum 15% for FA Cup games.
  23. Fir when you do go, the second section of the Joe Royle stand from the Frizzell stand is generally free of those types. ?
  24. £75,000. Another £36k for the winners. Shame about the Monday slot, but beggars can't be choosers when it comes to that cash. http://www.thefa.com/news/2018/oct/25/fa-cup-on-tv-first-round-251018
