  1. Any chance of the mods locking this thread a la the ticketing one?!
  2. Thought it was tidy enough, would look better if the corners were filled in. Plenty of boozers and eateries nearby, free parking and easy to get away from. £2.60 for a sausage roll inside the ground is a bit steep mind.
  3. They have a commentator and usually David Fairclough shown on screen at the ground, camera occasionally pans around for shots of the crowd, pretty sure they commentate as well but certainly no live action pictures are shown.
  4. It's a forum, no moaning, no forum! I've no doubt there will be plenty of tickets available on the day, probably below face value too. My gripe has been with the allocation process and the ensuing bunfight today for the remaining tickets, just think it could and should have been handled a lot better, it shouldn't matter if we only have this type of game once in a while.
  5. No, it's embarrassing mentioning it twice on the website though.
  6. No, but making people queue for hours on end in the middle of winter to buy tickets is embarrassing in 2011. And no mention of whether or not the kid got his ticket or not....
  7. Website making two mentions of people being treated for hypothermia, like it's a badge of honour. Embarrassing more like.
  8. Why? Absolutely right that you have first opportunity to buy but I really struggle with the idea that an ST holders money is better than a pay on the day supporter.
  9. Makes good headlines in the Chron. 'Cup fever grips town' and all that bollocks.
  10. Good for you, but your ST doesn't entitle you to two tickets for Home games so for me it's a nonsense that you should be able to have two for this, or indeed, any other away game regardless of who we are playing.
  11. Got no problem with people wanting to queue up for 2-3 hours, but in 2011 it shouldn't really be necessary. The cost of having a few extra people taking phone or wireless card orders would be peanuts. And I don't think ST holders should have able to purchase more than one ticket, let alone people being able to get as many as they want on open sale, but there you go.
  12. Same. Drove up, saw the queue and turned back. How much would it really cost to loan a few wireless card payment devices? Been handled in a poor way from the start, but I look forward to seeing all our new supporters on New Years Eve for the County game!
  13. Skybet have put Kevin Keegan in at 25/1. Hmmmm. It's between Chris Beech and Garry Flitcroft for the job.
  14. One game should be televised as well, another small Brucie bonus for the beancounters
  15. Highest earner at the club, think any new contract offer from us would be on reduced terms so wouldn't surprise me to see him away in January - hope he does stay until the end of this season though.
  16. Looks nothing like him if you ask me.... http://shop.mcfc.co.uk/stores/mancity/products/product_details.aspx?pid=88208
  17. Would be an excellent signing but wage is reputedly 8k a week so guess that rules us out!
  18. Amuses me how they always try to paint themselves as this hard-up club punching well above their weight while at the same time signing the likes of Clinton Morrison and McNamee.
  19. The(non)saga concludes(maybe) http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11710_7139913,00.html
  20. And yet people want Lee or Winchester to play centre mid?
  21. Stephen Brooker, David Carney, Claude Davis, Ryan France, Alan Gow, Robert Kozluk, Kevin Lisbie, Gavin Mahon, Michael McIndoe, Vincent Pericard, Alan Quinn, Gavin Rae, Marcel Seip, Krisztian Timar, Tommy Williams, Daniel Woodards All taken from PFA site, some might have clubs now and and some might be out of our range but I think anyone of these would walk into our team at the moment.
