    I've got a few mates who've played in the same teams as him, they honestly can't believe he even managed to get to League 2, let alone going higher. Although they did say the same thing about Pat McCourt, now plying his trade at Celtic.....!

    Andy Schleck must be a great each way bet at 7/1. Will be interesting to see how Basso gets on, looked pretty strong in the Giro but winners of that don't have the best record in this.

    Not sure about Gerrard, top player but has he ever really translated his club form in an England shirt? Ferdinand would have to be a shout, arguably our best player in 2002 and 2006 World Cups

    Nardiello a no-brainer for me, gave us a different dimension even in the short time he was here, would be delighted to see him back. Although I suppose when Gannon becomes manager he'll want to bring Liam Dickinson in.......

    What a game just then between Wade and Whitlock - great stuff. Think the Taylor/Lewis game could be a damp squid despite the best efforts of Sky building it up - fancy Taylor to win 5-0 or 5-1. On a slightly different note anyone know the name of the blonde who does the walkons - tasty stuff

    Patterson was at Rochdale at the same time as Pat McCourt - now at Celtic. The word was that he was talented but his attitude and commitment stunk - so he'd probably fit right in with our lot at the moment!
