Agree re the loaning out of our younger players. Dale Stephens is a great example of it working well for us.

I do still have doubts but to be honest, whoever we brought in at this stage was going to be a gamble - LJ certainly seems to have his head screwed on and is a more inspiring choice than the other names mentioned (Brown, Ternant, Kuqi). Looking forward to tomorrow night now, which I didn't think I'd be saying after Saturday.

The problem is that we've got a team largely made up of loanees and players who are out of contract. They don't give a :censored: because their agents are telling them they won't be at BP next season anyway. They should give a :censored: because even if they're on their way, their asking price will drop a lot with a relegation on their CV. I'm not sure they're clever enough to realise that. Football at our level has become so short-termist and mercenary. Yesterday demonstrated that only too clearly and it was as bad as anything I've seen under PD or even DP.

Why can't that linesman be held to account? We've got clear evidence of his incompetence (or bias). He can't claim he didn't see it when the picture shows him staring right at it. Unbelievable. He should never officiate again, he has zero credibility.
