It handled them reasonably well I think, the build up was there and for non-book readers I imagine it lulled them into a false sense of security as the earlier parts of the episode around the wedding were light-hearted before the sucker punch (and saying that i feel bad as it's quite literally a sort of sucker punch!). I remember reading the original bit in the book and having to re-read the chapter a few times to let it sink in as to what had happened haha

Having read the books and just watched the new episode tonight (online) I'm curious to gauge reaction as i feel it will be a stronger one than when ol' Edd had his head lopped off! I wasn't looking forward to this episode as i knew what was going to happen and having watched still feel gutted it's happened! Did anyone see it coming who has only watched the tv show?

Good news. Feel he's got potential to make a decent career out of the game if he can continue his progress under LJ.

I can't imagine they will have sold many yet with a lack of transfer activity (though i don't expect too much during the discount period anyway) plus a lot of people get paid on the 15th (including me) and others at month end so i imagine ticket sales at the moment are relatively low.

If Dickov is given free reign like he was here then Donny are in trouble....... However under someone like Flynn (If Dickov is willing to listen) he could begin to learn the tactical side of the game, something he seriously needs to do. As was evident to everyone here and after hearing off a few players. One player in particular thought Dickov himself was a great guy and happy to play for him but felt he didnt have a clue on tactics. Good luck to him!

Yeah mate quite happy with it! I had resgined myself to getting another shirt but when i realised other players had two each i realised my luck was in ha I'm not that fussed if mine's match worn or not as i wanted the white shirt and it's just a bonus that It was either worn by or was there for baxter to wear.

Being only really young when Thatcher was in office i have no real say on how her policies at the time affected me. However I've read a lot of the stuff that's come out since her death and the foreign affairs have alarmed me more than the domestic ones (although those were bad enough by all accounts). She was someone by all accounts who was happy to side with some very shady individuals abroad, brutal dictators among them, and even stood with the South African apartheid regime! :censored: her. I don't buy all this nonsense that we shouldn't bad mouth her now she's gone. Privately I'm sure she'll get the send off she deserves as the human being she was to those close to her but publically she deserves to get mullered by those who righlty think she was a :censored: for the havoc she caused and the way she conducted herself.

This is made all the more ridiculous by the fact the group FARE, who made the original complaint, didn't actually have anyone at the game and are basing their reports on second hand media comments! Give me strength....

Still not forgiven him for that backpass earlier in the season against Walsall at home. He's been poor all season really (apart from by all accounts when playing for his country). No big loss, happy to take the gamble on bringing someone in who is hungry for the fight for 11 game to Furman who will potentially only play a few of our remaining games and, considering his form, no gurantee of a decent game for the games he could of featured in. This will also finally mean Wesolowski won't be the first to be brought off when the two used to be on the pitch at the same time as more often than not Weso would be having the better game.

I have signed the petition in the club shop, given a comment in support on the planning application page and sent an email to the planning guy! It's now no secret i intend to go for the super fan of the year award! Haha

Voted no. Just thinking that if we do keep it, and it looks like if we did we would be one of the few that do, we will be getting peanuts for the players we are bringing through anyway. Any half decent player (such as the two from crewe) that are coming through the ranks can be snapped up for next to nothing without a second thought to the cost from the big boys. It would be al ong shot for a really talented player to make it through and stay in our team long enough for us to be able to command a decent wage. It's a shame the Premier League/big boys have gotten greedier and have had to force the lower league clubs hands on this and it stinks imo. Be good if we had a strong FA to stand up to the Premier League.
