I dont recall many players coming out in the press saying they were all for Dunn which said a lot for me. You normally see this when a manager is under pressure. Correct me if im wrong though, i may have missed it.

A weird one. I liked the performance and, although we got beat, felt we deserved the win and have come away more positive than last week. However i still feel depressed as its another defeat and in the wider context the performance doesnt change our situation as it is.

It was a very stereotypical "look how :censored: the north is" in that video. I know Oldham has plenty of :censored:e areas and buildings but they could of at least tried going asking questions round some of the newer projects round town to have a bit of balance. One of the many new gyms/health centres opening up or even our new north stand. I know that its not finished yet but it looks a damn sight better than that abandoned mill they used that looked like in the middle of nowhere. If they really wanted a mill there are still some in use that dont look as run down!

Forgive me, not 100% and im sure someone will correct me, but is that 60 yard free kick goal legal? Wouldn't a free kick that far out be indirect and as such any attempt at goal not allowed? I will admit I dont normally pay attention to the minutae of what type of free kick it is. Or even if im making it up that you cant shoot at goal from indirect fk's. I just thought id make sure. Let me not divert from the fact its a shocking bit of goalkeeping!

I must say that announcement that they had to leave the stand on to the car park side only was a bit pointless. The gates were open and fans pouring out onto Sheepfoot Lane side. Why the sudden change?

Quite the irony too. Last 7 or so years its been 1st straight up and the other promoted team the play off winner. Those 7 years (i think it's 7, someone correct me if im wrong) Oldham have been the beaten play off finalist 7 times. 1st year after they have "won" the league and they still need to do a playoff. Fingers crossed they do it!

I know of a couple fans who are paying in the home end tomorrow if it doesnt become pay on the gate for Latics. I think it's slightly different from last time as it was pay on the gate well in advance (correct me if im wrong) and so loads just turned up on the day. If they make it pay on the day tomorrow I still dont think we would sell out so they might as well if they can.

The new hot dogs aren't a patch on the previous ones. Also I don't think you can call something a meal deal when you aren't really getting a deal. For example went to the kiosk in the MSP nearer to the Chaddy and paid £5 for a balti pie and coke which is the exact same price when bought seperate. Not the end of the world but might make some feel they are being conned. Either lower the price of the deal by 50p-£1 and thus making it a deal or don't advertise it as one to begin with.

The new ones from next season aren't as nice as what we had from what I tasted from the open day. No doubt others will be happy with the changes but I think I'll be having the pies from now on!

If I remember correctly (no doubt this isn't the case anymore) I'm sure the club suggested once over they would just renovate the top half the stand, gut it to just above the changing rooms etc so they could still be used on matchday. Im guessing the lower tier is fine with the more modern seating. As others have said too I would like to see it run the full length of the pitch!

Chinese whispers again but I've heard the main stand too and it will be going where the directors currently sit.

Is it not possible that we switch ends again once the Chaddy End is meant to be refurbished (obviously that's a big if/when)? Sort of see this as a temporary move for the time being (a holiday if you will).
