  1. The title is very obvious, some might say childish. . Still makes me laugh. ?
  2. Of course. I totally agree. Thats exactly my point. If and when we can pay wages on time for 12 months, that’s when I’ll start to think we’re on the right track. In addition, we all know that when it’s going well behind the scenes it often reflects on the pitch- which is what we all want.
  3. Thanks for clarifying the wages situation. . Of course it’s better there paid. Who’s arguing it isn’t? Equally though it’s not a cause for optisim that the wages have been paid. It’s a basic requirement, that this month we’ve met. (Sorry the club has) ? Let’s hope it continues for a lot longer.
  4. No. I don’t. People can’t make a point without insulting people they don’t know. It’s annoying. They then miss the complete irony, in coming on a forum and calling poeople dickheads without realising how that makes them look themselves. He says people claiming they are in the know. Where? Who’s said that? The only person we all acknowledge has any credibility being in the know is Sinnot. So he’s talking nonsense. He then claims people want to be proved right about how shit things are. Yes. People want us to be shit. Ok. Or is it just fans discussing concerns about the club with other fans a forum. This month has been paid. Good. However justifiable concerns remain. Onto to Saturday.
  5. Dear me. Dickheads- really? The same can be said of ‘dick heads’ who think all is rosy because we paid the wages on time. There is nothing ‘in the know’ about it. The owner himself said there is issues with wages. This month there isn’t. Great. Hope it continues. But let’s not start playing with ourselves because we’ve managed to do a very basic thing.
  6. It’s the nature of the beast. For example- when we win the board is quiet. when we lose the board is busy. People love a moan. Myself included. Your contributing yourselves- moaning about moaning. ? Don’t read to much into it. Sift through what you like and ignore the rest.
  7. Is anybody surprised? Really? I will never ever understand why owners won’t come out and just say I’m really struggling. They all seem cut from the same cloth. ‘I’ve made a few quid, I know best.’ There always seem to be a mistrust of leaning on the community with honesty, and integrity. I for one, would be more inclined to help the club in whatever small way I could if he just said I’m sorry, I’m in over my head can you help? It’s our club. It’s our community. At the very least talk to us. He might be surprised what the people of the town can offer.
  8. Yeah I’d agree in the main. However, Its a fine line in a conversation. When is it asking the manager for answers/or influencing them. If a owner says to a manager- Why are you playing x upto on his own? Or why isn’t x playing. I don’t have a massive issue with that because A, I acknowledge it’s his money. B, I think it’s healthy for a manager to be challenged by his chairman- as long as they both respect each other. Opinion/suggestion/wanting answers is part of any healthy working environment IMO. Where is it an issue is if the owner demands players play. Or imply’s things will have to change if he wants to keep his job. That’s completely untenable. An you expect any manger worth his salt to walk in that situation.
  9. Agreed. Opinion is fine or happens. Influcening isn’t.
  10. ? I feel sorry for you. You said We know nothing for sure. I corrected you for talking bollocks. Again. You obviously don’t like being corrected. So your now changing the subject, and asking what can I/we do? Er, nothing. But it’s a forum, where we discuss things. This seems to escape you. Shame. If you haven’t got the intelligence to make a coherent argument without insulting people, then maybe just post a bit less.
  11. You’ll never get a response Fruity, because they don’t know. What little they do know, they won’t say. Good people. Thankless task. Doesn’t do what it says, because it can’t.
  12. He left when he realised we couldn’t afford to stitch PJ on his training kit, and he had to use the spares bucket.
  13. Your right we know nothing for sure. . Expect. He’s had 3 managers in 12 months. He’s sacked Andy Rhodes on the eve of a game. He sacked Bryne and Gerrard. A lot of staff have left the club in the last six months. He doesn’t pay wages on time. All of the above has actually happened. I’m sure there all nobheads though. .
  14. He is spending money Coke. Just not the good stuff. Just re -read your post. You’ve already implied the joke. Aplogies. I hate my life.
  15. To be fair BP, that’s not the point he was making. Plenty of managers get frustrated with players, especially when they proved right. Ie - if only he listened he’d score a lot more.
  16. Ok. ? I’m sure being told ‘anything less than 7th is unacceptable’ is really driving them on. By your logic, 80% of clubs are underachieving because despite the the massive disparity in budgets, there not hitting their prerequisite - 6th or better. ? keep fighting the good fight Harry. Maybe you could do a pep talk for the lads on sat?
