nesbitt1988
this lad is quality. dont think weve had a better left back in years. i cant name one thats better anyway. hes just soo good on the ball, great crosses, good tackler, is great at overlaps. hope we can keep hold of him because he adds soo much to our team

If we are still up there, and have to send him back at Christmas, it would be a big blow
opinions4u
Much better than Bertrand. And I liked Bertrand! The Jones/Taylor link up is shi* hot down the left. Shez - get this lad signed up until next summer ok!

Simpo
Outside of a transfer window you can only have short term loans, which are a maximum of 93 days. As it happens, this would take the loan into January, when we WOULD be allowed to make it long-term. From the little I've seen of Jones, I'd prefer him to Bertrand, he's more on Chris Armstrong's level for me.
Scapegoat
Very impressed by him today. What is the score with the loan - why his he here? To get fit or is he surplus to requirements?
Simpo
Wolves doing well without him to be fair, and their fans don't seem too keen on him would you believe!!!
Blu-Blood
He signed a new contract with wolves the morning of the Stockport game, so Mick McCarthy must think something of him. Hopefully, we can get him till end of season, but it wont be more than that.

al_bro
this lad is pure quality. i hoped we can make a loan deal to last till end of season. If we get promoted, we may be in a position to sign him permanently if he can be persuaded to leave Wolves. Shez says that he has been watching this lad for years, I wonder why he hasn't tried to sign him before. We have needed a left back for two years. Lordy
Wolves do not rate him ! He won't play for them. McCarthy would not let him leave on loan until he signed a contract though because they want £200k for him and didnt want him leaving on a free in the summer. Gaz_Oafc
In the hardy/corney interview on LW, corney said wolves already turned down around £300k for him, so that rules us out!

Season long loan then cough up the transfer fee when we go up. Sorted! ;)
al_bro
Just this thread on a Wolves forum, nowt else The difference between the top of the Championship and the top of League One is imense, which is probably why they don't rate him. Imo for us to get promoted to the Championship is the equivalent of us getting promoted to the top division in 1991.

brownaldo29
This lad has everything in his locker. Will be very hard to keep hold of him. Other championship clubs will sniffing if he carries on performing like that. Miles better than bertrand!! Better on ball, better crosser, better in air and probably quicker! Also has a presence about him. Shez get the lad signed up. Changes for sat... Gregan for byrne Eardley for Lomax(maybe?) And possibly Allesandra for Davies although i think Davies needs games and is due a goal!! Roll on Saturday!!
Stitch_KTF
Is Jones better than Eardley???? Potential transfer fees suggest he is nowhere near as good.......flog Eards, purchase Jones and stick the rest of the cash in the bank! brownaldo29
Eardley wont be worth as much as jones in my opinion!
footy68
I think O'grady should get a go with Hughes, see if he can do better than Davies.
Frankly Mr Shankly
Back onto Jones though, and this lad is a cut above IMO. Looks so strong moving forward, great left foot and pulled Byrne out of the crap every time he kept losing his man. Jones and Taylor on the left flank look a formiddable pairing now. Lags
It would be harsh on Byrne but, Gregan will have to come back in. Jones' place is cemented for as long as he stays. Did well at Stockport and followed it up with a great display yesterday and Taylor must be delighted he's here. Whilst Rubes was Rubes and Lomax didn't do anything wrong, Eardley will be in before him. It's odd really if you look at the back four individually they all had decent games yet Hereford did have chances! so why is that? Davies stays in the side for me ahead of Ales and O'Grady. Whilst only Hughes is scoring out of the front players I just thing Craig brings more to the party at present.
