outoftheblue
In respect of the great man's return I'll be wearing one of my 1990 shirts to the game on Saturday. Anyone else still got theirs and had the same idea? It would be great to see all those shirts, scarves and other merchandise from the Royle era on display again. Mine'll be a bit of a tight squeeze now though

the_carters_arms
My major problem will be I was 14 when Royle left. So all my Royal era shirts are sizes 6 years to 14 years. I could look like a bit of a perv if I try and fit one over my beer chest now.

Hometownclub
I've still got some of my old 80's and early 90's shirts but in what appears to be a recurring theme on this thread amongst us older fans I too would be struggling to squeeze in to any of them now 20 years on. Delfer
Yep - have dug out my shadow stripe number sponsored by JD sports. Also found a leisure jacket that still fits with the club badge on the back, its a blue fleck bad taste object - came with tracksuit type bottoms too originally. anyone else got one?? Also remember we used to sing Royle, Royle ( as in roy-al to amazing grace) a lot as well as "walking down sheepfoot lane" Lets go RETRO!!! BlueJazzer
I've still got my red and White hoop shirt, was that royle era?
Stitch_KTF
I've got the last Bovis shirt which is a bit tight and also got the same shirt but with no sponsor on (bought during the period between Bovis and JD Sports I imagine - limited edition?). It's an XL too so it's a bit too big.... Who would of thought we'd be getting back JD Sports and Big Joe this season?

ThaiLatic
I wore my Bovis shirt in our after work kick around today. It was a bit tight but I felt 20 years younger!
MaskedOwl
Can someone a bit older than me (im 26) confirm which kit latics played in during Big Joe's reign? I have a few that i bought of ebay but never wear them.
oafcmetty
Shirts won't fit, but I've got a can of the lager that was produced for Wembley. Don't think I'll drink it though - would probably miss the match as I'd be stuck on the bog!

Anything with Bovis or J.W Lees or even Maxwell will do the trick....... oh and maybe even JD sports although you'll have to make sure it's pre-'

oafc_ok
I love it. Anybody got a large for sale? The one I'm borrowing (you don't think I actually bought it, do you?) is a Medium, which is fine as long as I can hold my gut in for 90 minutes!
