Is it me or is there just a massive negative bubble around the place, its affected me as i'm struggling to maintain any interest these days, squad is the most boring i can remember, the ground that i used to worship is now a joke, even the website does my tits in these days, always seems to be about the youth team or the B team. Now i think penney is an alright bloke but the place just seems empty at the moment, even the tta who saved the club seems to be always going on the offensive and having a go at the fans, who in turn have a go at the team when playing bad (which seems every wek!!), its just a vicious circle!! I just dont feel the club belongs to us anymore! The thing is when it all get's back to normal can we entice them back. I think this next year or so will be one of the most critical in the clubs history!!! Please could someone give me some positives to focus on or i'm in danger of falling out with football totally!!!! **rant over** Well, considering we've ended up with a team struggling to score goals, playing in a three-sided shed of a stadium, already relying on loan signings, a lengthy injury list, not enough pies to go round on a match day and a fickle public that won't support any form of improvement for sporting facilities, let alone support the club. I think you've got every reason to be worried. Btw, a club will only "belong" to a fan if that fan has got his heart in the club. Something that's hard to do at the moment. Haven't been to a game since Brentford away and was trying to decide up until yesterday whether to go to Gills. Thought a day on the beer and the footie was just what I needed, but then decided spending £70 and doing an 8 hour round train journey on my tod was a waste of a weekend. I can't completely put my finger on why - I've been willing to travel and spend that amount of cash before to see equally predictable matches, but there just seems to be, as you said in the title, a general negative feeling around the club, in a different way to all the other low points we've experienced over the years.
