Sinstadt Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 In retrospect Moore probably shouldn't have been fired. Doesn't change the fact though I'm glad he was, certainly at the time. And Sheridan had shown he didn't have that final piece of the jigsaw to motivate the team. In his first and third seasons he got us off to a good start and then blew it. DP is offering us relegation and for some that is ok... The mind boggles... What are you looking for ? Maybe a Ferguson or a Redknapp.. We will never know, but at the time the vast majority thought we would not make the play offs under Shez. Everyone knew we were going downhill that season, for many months, from Jan. If Shez was still in charge this season, then we will never know, but there is no way Shez would have renewed half those contracts anyway, so many of the players let him down, or were crocks or were past it. There were 40 trillion posters saying they would not renew their season tickets under Moore. This board was full of 'em.
