But if you put your money were your mouth is, then you are supporting the club,and therefore deserve credit for not being an armchair supporter, which to be honest, is my biggest gripe against the plastic Manchester fans. Its not easy being a tic, but i buy my season ticket in the knowledge that it is not being used to finance some prima donna, or pay the intrest back to some greedy bank. I don't know why I would go to a falling down ground pay inflated prices and watch average third division football rather than paying less to watch a star studded side in a nice stadium watching the best league in the world, Is beyond me. I am probably the most hated person at the moment and to be fair I don't blame you. When going to all these top tier stadiums of England and Europe, I first thought wow this is great. But then I realised and asked myself Am I really enjoying it or am I doing this to piss certain people off? The answer was the latter. It was all blown out of proportion in the first place. I went to Munich with my mate for a trip to a new stadium and that was all. But then certain people started going on at me for doing so, so that's when I started going there instead of here. I was enjoying the results and the entertainment of it all (But who can blame me?) but it was being ruined seeing latics getting beat again. I have been back to BP a few times and even though I haven't seen some of the best footballers in the world there I still enjoyed it a lot more than I was at CoMS. I asked myself after a few games where would I rather be? In this 4 sided,warm,star studded stadium, where you will more or less see 5 goals a game and some great entertainment or be in a cold 3 sided stadium, with :censored: beer, nasty tasting food, some average football and being stressed all the time? So it was City or Oldham? Financially it's cheaper for me to go to City which attracted me at first but for the sake of a few quid is it worth it? NO. To anyone who I may offended then I am sorry but it's my choice. I got heavily slagged for what I did (Rightly so) but some people went too far (mentioning family and other things). I know it probably seem's mad but I would of loved going to MK on saturday. Even though it ended like it did i still would of been glad to be there. Anyway I have said my peace. If you want to slag me off or anything just get done with it and move on. I'll be there on Saturday and every other saturday.... Like it use to be. Let the tirade begin. Second I said football for latics is expensive which it is! Like I said earlier it's financially cheaper for me to attend city than it is to attend latics. Bayern Munich was the first time I watched city since they got beat off west ham in FA cup quarter final in 2006. So again your wrong. No none of that I stated the reason why I much prefer latics. It's stupid but hey it's my choice. It's logical Oldham would go bust if they kept inflating prices. It's the truth! 2,500 against Walsall was a prime example that many have just stopped. I have not seen attendances so low! That comment about this tickets was aimed at you as you said I wouldn't be able to get tickets to away games or anything which clearly I could. None of us a perfect Lee, people can go and watch any club they fancy, I watch Latics and non league football and at the moment it's a more enjoyable experience watching non league. I went to Wembley to watch Glossop a few seasons a go, but that doesn't mean I have to follow them week in week out, fans in general like a winning team and to be entertained and I'm afraid to say that's not happening with any regularity at BP. I offered my brother a free ticket to watch Latics recently and he said he'd rather stop in watching Jeff Stelling and Sky Sports News, yet he went to watch Latics play at Huddersfield and really enjoyed the day out - that says a lot about the BP experience. It was the thrill of seeing the team play such exciting football that won me over - as happened with many during Big Joe's era.
