rudemedic
Guidetti was linked to Newcastle recently. Championship standard at worst. Indeed a cheeky offer now wouldn't be out of the question. As they say up in Geordieland "Shy bairns get nowt". He can't be loaned to a Premiership club after the transfer window shuts at the end of the month though, so we might have a much greater chance next month. Crusoe
He managed 20 goals and 8 assists in 23 games for Feyenoord in his last loan. He was also wanted by Sunderland in the summer. Not a hope in hell of getting him at this level. Edited January 14, 2013 by Crusoe
Bristolatic
Federico Macheda is a bit peed off at not setting OT on fire, but is determined to make the grade. Yet another loan is looking likely. Nigel Reo-Coker has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent at Ipswich so he's a free agent. Could these be the striker and midfielder we're all hoping for? Or would it be wishful thinking?

Reo-Coker would be just what we're looking for, someone who can organise and get around the pitch, we just need him to take a 0 off his wage demands first! What a waste of a career. No wonder he hasn't seen City's 1st team for years, whilst being paid a relative fortune.
slystallone
What a waste of a career. No wonder he hasn't seen City's 1st team for years, whilst being paid a relative fortune. I posted this on the thread that was knocking around with the initial rumour on it: http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2012/jun/02/daniel-taylor-michael-johnson What a waste. But - more fool City in the 5 year deal they were so quick to offer; they're effectively lumbered with a 'player' who is more than happy to merely pick up his (very high) wage for doing feck all, all the while pissing & eating his talent up the wall. Actually, scratch that - more fool him. City can afford it.
slystallone
....and just spotted this on a Burnley Forum where they're discussing that same photo of him: Man city scout was telling me he's been in rehab for alcohol addiction - hes been fighting it for about 4 years . Been told City have really looked after him - real shame excellent prospect .

It's right that an employer should support an employee. But surely at some time during that period they have the right to cancel his contract as he is incapable of doing his job. oafc1955
He would be a great signing.....someone to hold the bloody ball for more than 5 seconds and actually move towards the opponents goalmouth would be a breath of fresh air. Play him alongside Baxter and it could be awesome in this division!!
